Is there a good build I can use to farm FoW or UW in hard either using a sin, an ele, or a rit. Because I think I would have a better chance to get good drops like ecto in HM.

yeah use search and also HM doesnt have anything to with things like ectos, only the other drops increase in drop rate ectos stay the same.

imo hm doesn't drop ectos, hell I did one run in HM killed all the mindblades no ectos just like 20 gold items. I went to kill the pits and I got 2 ectos but took another 30mins cuz they have higher dmg reduction. The run is rather more dangerous too because the charged darkness can wtf own and if u active a trap you as well might as well be insta dead. All those chars can farm something in UW, rit+ele=smites and sin=chaos plains.

HM is the most recomended mode to use, but NM is just as fine.

In concering builds, just use the Art of Underworld builds and you should be able to go at a nice pace. Pciking up some ectos while you are there.

(I'm using the first Mo/Me, Art of Underworld Sticky thread's build. Try using that and you should do just fine.)

can anyone show me a map that can lead me to the smites? I have a hard time and where to find the entrance.

Let me just stop you while you're ahead. Smites are not worth the run. Chaos Plains/Bone Pits/and Spawning pools are the way to go with sin or ele. Ele though can only do NM, sin can do HM, but can't do spawning pools (charged blacknesses with [shock] in HM=dead) But there's tons of builds on guru that like the A/Me or A/E that can easily do chaos plains and bone pits in HM, just gotta look around

ok thxs, I tried the smite crawlers, but their zealot fire does constant 51 damage (in HM) and it's impossible to kill. Also, I tried to reach the Chaos planes and bone pits but the charged blacknesses were blocking the way when I have to go through the long mountain path (as well as those behemoths) in order to reach the chaos planes and bone pits. Can anyone give some good tips? I'm using the A/E sliver permashadow that someone showed me. So since it's impossible to reach chaos planes and bone pits in HM, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with smite crawlers (i was using feigned when dealing with smite crawlers but they constantly flee and if i attack them, feigned ends and I'm more vulnerable to the zealot fire).
