Default help, which to choose?!

i've never attempted going solo farming before. i've been pretty much content with the money made playing through the missions. but now i'm ready to do some farming and work on building up my piggy bank

i've read through all these farming threads, looked at all the builds, etc. but i still don't know which profession to choose! i had originally thought of making a 55 monk but then i've read that pretty much every profession can solo something or another. now i have no idea.

i have several lvl 20 characters, necro, ranger, warrior primarily. i do have one monk but she's still lvl 10 cuz i'm just not that crazy about monks. however it's not really my personal preference of profession that's making me indecisive. it's just, since i am a beginner to solo farming, i don't know which profession would be best for me.

i need a profession that's somewhat easy for a new solo farmer. i'm not asking for you guys to give me builds or anything. i can look those up. if you guys think a 55 monk would be easier, or an elementalist, or whatever, then that's what i'll make. i have no problem making a new character just for farming. i'm ready to start bringing in some gold.

thx in advance guys.

assassin is a pretty good choice after the shadow form buff.
perma shadow form is now ridiculously easy to maintain, and with sliver form and all that stuff you can farm all kinds of stuff

Ele is easy farming and fun+easy to use in regular PvE, E/A bossfarm is a great way to start making money and even better with Hard Mode for Elite tomes, if you start in factions you will be able to start farming ver quickly with all the skills you need being early in Factions/NF if I remember. Also when wanting more money Terra-tanking the UW is an amazing income.

If you have all of the games I would very strongly suggest an assassin. They are very versatile and can farm a large number of places and are easy to use once you learn how to maintain Shadow Form.

either sin or ele. both of those classes have skills that make farming just about anything possible. i use an ele just because they are more accepted in pve groups than sins seem to be.

1.Sin
2.Rit
3.Monk (lvl them up)

Sins are great for farming anywheres with new SF buff. Rits are great for farming alot of places, plus can dual farm with them. Monks are great for Dualing farming, such as Dungeons. Learn to run dungeons for people if you got EotN can make you alot of money.

thanks guys! i think i'm leaning a little more towards sin now. i have one leveled already just never played her much after i hit lvl 20 (i think i have a problem of starting new characters too much, lol) i think sins are great when played correctly and they do make great runners too (if i decide to do a little running later on). i had a droks run from an A/ME and she was the best runner i ever had. i may have to give an ele a try too just to see what it's like for farming. all i got is time right? and it all goes to GW!! lol

thanks again all!

55hp nec/monk aint bad however i barely ever ever farm anymore with the one i have, find it rather boring and options are limited especially in eotn or you need to dual it -.-

E/A or E/Me got alot of options into play, however with the shadowform after the last update atm the best farming class is Assassin only deathbane is touchskills or signets
