My friend has a 55 monk and I'm looking to make an ss necro so we can take on the underworld together. I'm level 20 and already have ss, but I looked up some builds and they all require expansion pack skills. I do not have any expansions. Can someone post a standard underworld build for an ss necro to work with a 55 monk? Thanks.

[arcane echo][spiteful spirit][blood ritual][desecrate enchantments][suffering][sympathetic visage][awaken the blood][resurrection signet]

used this before factions came out and ectos were actually worth something.

works as follows:
awaken the blood (extra damage)
echo
ss enemy 1
echo'd ss enemy 2
suffering (cover hex)
desecrate enchants (if needed)

before the monk goes in you should cast visage and br on him/her

factions makes this build better though as you can add in [reckless haste] and [ancestors visage] to make the run faster and smoother

Thanks for the help. Just a question though: Are there any more profitable places we could go instead of the uw?

UW is probably the most profitable you could do without any expansions.

But yeah, UW is the best considering you only have profecies, and the build above seems to be aright. If you trust ur friend then swap out res sig for something else.
