Yesterday I had 11 ecto in a Run with2 golds and a scroll, this morning I had 3 ecto, 0 golds and 1 scroll.... so no it's not nerfed.... u need luck

Nerf conspiracy lol , if there was one then i must have been anets target , was a few weeks back getting nice drops all over gw and suddenly i get days with no ectos or even no golds.Even thought i must be farming places in nm by accident an nope was hm.
Sometimes i go farming and farm for 2 hrs and have maybe 2k profit an before i cud easily make 4k+ and golds/tomes ( i dont rush farm and take my time lol ) .
So the nerf idea i laugh at and since i doubt anets targetted me ( or hope lol ) i sit back and relax knowing that i hate random drops lol

Btw whens the next conspiracy gonna be formed as ive an idea - Usa run anet and are using gw as a type of mind control for the world ( would say uk but we`re about a big a threat to world as a nerf theory is lol ) or gw is the matrix prototype

I do 1 UW run/playtime with my VwK warrior
at saturday I had a 10 ecto run (2 from smites + 8 from mindblades) + got no chest spawn
at sunday I had a 6 ecto run (0 from smites + 6 from mindblades) + got 5 chest spawn (3 at smites - never seen 3 chests there before)
I guess it's all random, and depends on luck (once I had 3 weeks of dry smite runs - that was why I started to farm mindblades)

Only bad luck I've had lately is with the Behemoth spawns. Seems like every RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing time I end up getting hit with their damned traps.

I don't know why this always comes up... It's all a question of luck! Statistically speaking, killing 8 horsemen would yield 2-3 ectos assuming the mindblades have a rate of 2% ecto drop rate.

People blame some so called anti-farm code when they get nothing or compare themselves to those who said their BEST run was 8 ectos... It goes both ways, so do you blame some farm code when you get more than 2-3 ectos? You don't. It's a question of statistics and some hindsight bias.

I've just done this run a few minutes ago. I got LUCKY. Don't think this is what I get all the time. I average about 2-3 ectos. The run with the screenshot, I got 8 total. The run before that, got 1.

I've never gotten more than 3 ecto's a run (including Aatxes!), smites, chaos planes, whatever. And I've farmed UW a lot. Most runs are only 1 though, yes I am unlucky (it even cost me double the average money to get the unlucky title).

When I first started,I barely got 3 ecos per run.

Now my last 3 Have been 8,7,8 and I would have gotten more if my pc hadnt miraculously rebooted in the middle of a run.

Bad luck methinks.

I've done only 2 runs today + 1 run where i killed only aatxes, thanks to behemoth block...

9 ectos + 2 rubys, few merchant food golds and some purple, yellow and blue dye.

Edit; actually i had only 1 full run and 1 half of the chaos plains, as on my first run i died when i had cleared about 50% of CP (1 group stopped following me so i run back to reaggro them, but waited too long with / didn't notice SF :P)

Out of my 6 succesful runs, my average ecto per run rate is 2-3. One of the runs was ectoless, but the last one yielded me 7 ectos, 5 golds and 3 UW scrolls.

I did my morning run ended up with 8 ecto 2 rubies and 1 sapphire

not so bad for my third run since I found the build.
