I'm well aware of how touch and point blank aoe skills work thank you, so don't talk down to me like i've never been in the Underworld.

I was merely stating that it isn't an art in pressing 3 skills to assume invulnerability vs Mindblade Spectre's, compared to say surviving them with a monk and necro duo where if you allow them to start casting you're usually f'd, and thus have to time SV/AV, maintain your life and the necromancer has to watch his aggro and time his hexes.

Thats why i consider it more UW Art than this new wave of Perma Shadow farming. I didn't state it was 'bad' or say i have a problem with people using it, i don't care.

But don't try convince me or any others that Shadow Form builds have skill involved just because you have to avoid one or two creatures as you run to your Farming area.

I agree with 1 thing about this thread and many others. this new SF farming is just plain ridiculous...
however instead of buffing smites to be like mindblades ANet should really nerf mindblades to be like smites... I know it's not a popular opinion as most people here on guru are just greedy and want their FoW armor and Tormented Weapons asap but doing and farming the UW, FoW, etc used to be a challange once. now everything is just a piece of cake with either perma SF or Ursan :\
so at least make the reward less worthwhile than it was before, and no the "farming nerf" doesnt really cut it as it doesnt affect ecto(and other material) drops among others...

Let's just make every enemy in the game only drop 1 gold coin at a time. Maybe that will shut up all these whiners about how easy farming is these days.

Well I agree actually, warriors are one of the worst farming professions now tbh compared to Sins, Monks and Eles, their on-target damage in pve is meh, SY! can be supported with same success by a sin or a para were a para would do greater job making the party unkillable and a sin would wtfoutdamage a warrior, tank & spank is dead. :P

I only like warriors because they are fat and meaty, yum yum. :3

I still don't get how you consider 55/ss an art. Both 55/ss and perma SF have their strengths and weakness. The big one, 55/ss can farm smites, perma SF can farm plains. It's a lot harder for them to switch positions and that's why each is special in its own location. And besides, the only competition either has in the UW besides the other's farming locations, are the nightmares, and each has a way to stop em, with either SF or SB.

So it's not like perma SF is uber l33t pwnsauce in UW, because unlike 55/ss, it can't farm smites...yet

Permasf can farm smites actually if you go A/E and maybe take a bonder hero with you, in theory it can, as for 55/ss? art? wtf? imo same thing, bash your enchie at "X" time and urar invulnerable. :P

well, a VwK warrior can farm smites AND mindblades (some of the bone pits too), only its just take a little more time (1-1,5h the whole run) - so If the OP really was complaining about that he can't farm mindblades without a sin, than he's just stupid...
