W/Rt Vwk Smites

1 ecto out of every 5 runs

1) No im not kidding
2) Yes I've moved onto other types of farming because for whatever reason I have terrible luck in UW.

been trying to 55/SS UW (unsuccessfully i might add...) and haven't been getting as far as the 600 smite team we usually run.

in 5 55/ss runs, we got 2 ectos, but never got past the 1st 3 terrorwebs.

last night went in 600 smite and got 3 ectos from Aatxes. 1 from a smite.

(completed 1st quest, servants of grenth, and escort of souls in 600 smite run)

my last 2 runs
killing the start area, chamber, iceworld, and aatxes near obsidian monsters, doing the first quest and the one in iceworld (=like 25 dryders)
each run 30min, each time 1 ecto dropped from _all the enemies_

i'm having bad luck or what?! oO

went in as 600 / smite with a hero smiter and got 5 ectos when doing everything up to the mountains.

1 from Aataxe, 1 from terrorweb and 1 from Keeper of souls, and got 2 from the first group of 6 mindblades. (was shocked when i saw the first drop, started dancing on the second...)

went in later that day with my wife as 600, me as SS necro with smiter hero. got 1 ecto in the first run, 2 in the second. in those runs, 1 dropped from Aatxe and 2 from smites.

from what i've seen, the 4% chance from Aatxes, 2% chance from smites, Twebs, and keepers seems about right. i need to get to more mindblades consistently to gauge their drop rate, but that won't happen until we get my wife's necro to level 20 and ascended.

w/rt 10 runs (12 minutes each) two times (yesterday and today) with day one averaging out to 2 ecto a run, and day two being 3.

I know this may sound a little dumb, but I honestly think a lot depends on what time of day you go. In the morning and at night past 10 I notice a lot less drops. At one point I was averaging 2-3 drops from 8-10 at night. From 10-12 I got 0-1 average. I did try restarting the clock, to end that whole "please take a break" and still no luck. I do not know why whether it is because not as many are on or people place bots in there (yes there are still bots out there that extremely destroy drop rates). I don't know but I figure drop rates may even be on a time schedule.

E/mo Obsidian Ele; Chaos Plains. 25-30 minutes. Max Drop so far 9 ecto, min drop 2. On average 4-6 ecto's.

Hmm, I might start to record the ecto drops I get from smite runs (maybe even screenshot the drops). I would do Mindblades but I have gone well off it, I get an average of about 3 ecto a run which I don't think is worth the hassle of running the mountains with monster lag.

A/E - Mindblade Spectre+Banished Dream Rider+Terrorweb Dryder(only 6-7 near last Banished).

25-30 min -> 4-7 ectos per run ... midle = 5 ectos per run = 20 ectos per hour.

In all runs(about 10-15) already drop 2 black dyes, 2 white dyes, 3-5 phatom keys, many golds weapons....

4-5e average

With a full clear, usually average 10 ectos throughout the entire clear. sometimes its more, sometimes less

A/E No Aatxes Chaos planes + 6-8terrorwebs , 22-25 mins min 0 max 12 avarage 2-4 (iirc)
W/Me Smites 12-15 mins , min 0 max 6 avarage 1-2 9iirc)
E/Mo Same thing as A/E 40-50mins (i suck) min 2 max 8 , avarage 4 (over 10 runs)

A/E (Perma Shadow Form)

NM Clearing the Chaos Planes. ~35-40 minutes.
I did a few runs and the lowest number of ecto's that dropped was 4. The highest amount was 9 so far. On average I'd say 6 so far.

It's pretty easy, save time by making sure that Aaxtes can't block you in.
Low HP makes sure that the enemies won't run from the Lava Front damage.

Can't wait to do another run tomorrow.
