Default How to farm natids outside Nahpui Quarter in wajjun Bazaar in HM?

How do You farm em?I've seen 'em using life stealing spells so 330HP rit may not be up for the task. There are also monk mantids with some healing :/ 55HP necro will get owned by life stealing. All is left is E/A or A/E with SF but they will get owned by life steal as well.Am I correct? How do You guys farm em?I'd like to get some tomes off those buggers.
It was supposed to be MANTIDS :/

gimme one sec and i'll try to farm em with a sin
edit: no i can't farm them with the permasin chaos planes
the mantid smiters spam spear of light and heal themselves constantly with it
and the necro mantids are impossible to kill because the smiters constantly heal them with the few spells they have
but don't worry
there's alot that can't be farmed
the jade brotherhood wars can be farmed with a 55 just outside the marketplace
and you can farm more of them with the permasin

Yeah, I don't think anything can solo those, there are monks that heal, plus enchant strips, and life stealing. Dualing is probably the only way. I've tried there acouple times as they is a good number of them, and they are really close to Naphui Quarter. Mo/Me with Spirit Shackles for dualing should work, just drain the monks energy... but then again, you need to have SB up the whole time, so maybe take QZ for another hero. It's kinda sucks farming for drops with hero's though. Maybe ill try to figure something out with Sin.

I'm surprised A/E doesn't work ?
you should try with [Sliver [email protected]][Ebon Battle Standard of Honor] add in [air of superiority][glyph of lesser energy] for energy
btw SF isn't owned by life steal if the skill is a spell [vampiric swarm]

Anyways, I think the trick is to aggro ALL the mantids, then split the monitors (monk) from the drones (necro), this is possible because they have different attack range, then use sliver to kill the monks first, autoattack them with spear/sword/axe to interrupt [ethereal light], use last slot for [shell shock] maybe(or [finish him] but might be energy intensive), for when the monks have [shield of regeneration] up

edit :

last time I tried to farm those was with my mes + Ranger hero, mes as obsidian flesh, and ranger with sq/qz to provide perma OF, I used the same tactics as before, except I didn't even had cracked armor and it worked quite well.

A much easier spot than the one you were asking about is Kinya Province, right outside Ran Musu Gardens. You will find the same foes there (mantid drones and monitors), but they come in small groups which quickly drop to 55hp SV builds. The Kappa there may be farmed as well for an additional chance of an ele tome drop.

Its possible to do these guys with the UW E/Me perma obbyfleshtank with Sliver Armor.

The trick is to gather them all in one really big group and split the monks and necros (pretty easy as they have a different casting range) Go up to the monks and unleash Sliver armor on them (they should go down in a few seconds due to the amount of attacks you are receiving). After that just pick off the necros at yosur leisure (but dont forget a single monk as they will heal the last necro really well and you wont be able to kill them.

I've seen Your build a while ago. What about their life stealing? They got life steal spells which obviously can't cause problems but what about their life-steal skills?

A/E Sliver works fine, can do a run in 3 minutes or so. I don't see why anyone said that A/E doesn't work... I will be making another A/E Master Sliver of Swiftness Misc video that will include the mantids and some other good areas I have found.

Made part 3 video for A/E Sliver build, with a few more areas to farm including mantids. just waiting to upload it. I started uploading it earlier on youtube, 3-4 hours later it canceled out so now I have to do it all over.

yes it is easy to do them with just sliver SF build. in both HM and NM just aggro all 3 groups pull them so they bunch together then the monks will seperate from the necros. Ill post of pic tomorrow for you.

When you pull them all together, the monks and necros attack a different rangers, allowing you to target whatever group you want. Take out the monk groups first, then go on to the necros... Just because to step out of the Well to regen a bit in between slivers. I use Vipers Defense on Necros only, it helps speed up the run a bit. also, don't attack, use AoE, or degen on the monks, as it will make it alil harder to take them down for some reason... Guessing its because they start using spells on themselves. Just let Sliver take them out.
