Question Both Survivor & Legendary Defender of Ascalon?

Upon taking a party of 2 to The Northlands in Pre-Searing, neither person would take a Res Sig.

The player searching for both of these titles (survivor & LDOA) goes off to the left in a safe area (after killing all enemies in the area) and the remaining player (dummy) pulls charr to the res shrine and lets them kill him over and over.

As long as you don't have a Res Sig available, and taking into account that the other remaining player is Still Alive, isn't it true that the Res Shrine will STILL res the dead player?

I KNOW for a fact that this was true over a year or two ago, but haven't been there since to see. My main question is: does it still behave in this way?

If this is true, then both titles are Possible, am i right?
Has anyone tried it?
(haven't played this game in about a year, sorry if this is an hysterically stupid question)

Won't work

Rez shrines will not raise you if there is a player alive

They will rez you if the only ones alive are henchies or heroes without rez skills - but that is not possible in pre.

Isn't it possible (in theory, in practice you'd be working till the end of time) if you find a player who has a Resurrection skill from a tome?

It isn't possible to get both titles anymore; it was once possible through a few bugs/exploits, however.

Aren't there people still holding unused tomes?

In theory, yes. But since there's no HM in Pre (until level 20 I suppose, personally never done it), you can't get a tome drop, and since you can't get to storage there without a bug/exploit, the real answer is no.

Location: "Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

It used to be the case that if one player died, he/she would resurrect automatically. I learned that this no longer happens while doing Charr boss runs whereby the gate monkey would take the 50g then insist on staying to leech XP. I'd lure some stuff to him and have him killed out of spite.

Even with a tome for a res skill it would be an extremely tedious process. It takes long enough to death level Charr the 'normal' way without having to be resurrected manually whilst the resurrecter avoids death.

This question has been asked several times before, and this isn't the right forum. Closed.
