First things first,I've tried a search, and nothing came up.
I can easily wtpwn NM UW chaos plain runs,using A/E MoR+Lava, no problems with aggro breaking or anything. I wanted to give HM a shot, A/E just caused scatter left right and center which made me rage quit HM, and go back to NM where nothing scatters.
Got board of NM, and wanted to farm some golds for title, so took the bullet, and got the skills needed for the A/Me build thinking that with only AoE damage every few seconds they wouldn't scatter, WRONG...
So what I'm asking, failing body blocking will the grasping ever not scatter, and how do I do this.
I haven't even made it to chaos plains in HM, cos the times I haven't raged, I've had shit trap spawns. Do the mindblades scatter like the grasping, I'm assuming the will.

Like always in HM pull them so their left side is against a wall and they won't scatter. This will work with the A/Me build but with the A/E fire build I find that they still scatter.

when i farm chaos planes i use the standard Lava Font build and i maintain my hp below 55 by allowing SF to run out on the first cycle before i aggro. i then swap weapons to vampiric until i get n e where from 1 - 5 hp then swap back to Rago's Flame Staff. i maintain aggro in both NM/HM

Hmm I use the A/E sliver build and dont have to much problems with scatter as long as you block them on edges of stuff. Yes thats HM And it also does Attaxxs also.

Keep your health low and they wont scatter.

somewhere around 100 or up is where they scatter, anything below that they will stay and fight not matter what I've found. Even if they scatter, it's only for a second and it doesn't stop me. 2 Lava fonts, they scatter, but are down well below 33% health, they come back hit it again and they are dead.

try to keep your health low , like ~~50-100 and would be fine

No, I can hold my HP at less than 10 and they still scatter in HM, hence the reason I am asking for help......

I think the scatter issue was addressed in several different posts
If i recall correctly it boils down to 1 single factor in both hm and nm,
NM = enemy will scatter ( not all tho - rangers an some casters ) when hp is down to a certain % but may be avoided with low hp.
HM = enemy will scatter no matter how much hp you have at a certain % ( their hp ) as anet set hm ai up to scatter a few months back in an update - only way to counter is apprently body blocking.

Ive no idea why some enemy dont scatter - spiders outside sunspear great hall is a great example if in hm - if your a 55 monk/perma sf sin/w/rt ( or any tank basically ) you can ball them up and use aoe to hearts content and they just stay there lol ... but you grab an equal mob of say melee and bamn they like to split.
