Default Mesmer 55

This farm has prolly been posted before, but I couldn't find one so decided to contribute.

[Illusionary Weaponry][Conjure Nightmare][Empathy][Protective Spirit][Healing Breeze][Mending][Balthazar's Spirit][Essence Bond]

Typical low AL armor, -50HP offhand, melee weapon (hopefully) with +5 energy and +20% enchantment mod. Max out Illusion magic, put enough into Prot and Healing to have +10 regen and a 16 second Prot Spirit, then dump the rest in Domination Magic.

You can farm all of the Jade Brotherhood outside of The Marketplace with this build. It is very efficient, I can usually take down any group of Mages / Knights with one cast of IW. Just be careful when facing groups that have 2 mesmers or a mesmer and ritualist. You always want to take down the mesmers first, as they have int. and hex removal. They are not hard, just take a bit of patience and good timing. Use Empathy and Nightmare to bait them into using their int. skills, then kill them with IW. Then get the rits, as they heal with Soothing Images.

This is good for killing ~40 Jade Brotherhood. In about 4 hours I made 7k in pure merchant stuff, 33 bolts of silk, 1 white dye, 5 lockpicks, about 20 golds (three from locked chests) 122 bolts of cloth, 5 Radiant and 3 Survivor insignias (good for about 4k if you want to sell right away), minor vigor rune (3k if you sell right away) 1 jadeite shard, and some red and purple dye.

So while it might not be the most lucrative farm, it def pays off and is pretty fun. Its a very good way particularly to get runes, silk and cloth, as you will get quite a bunch of each in each run. I would guess about 2 golds per run on average.

Edit: Forgot to mention that this is for HM, and that you get quite a few warrior tomes from it, with a chance to get an elite ele tome from Lian.

yeah this has been around for a while. not sure if it works but it may be better to use a scythe and just have 105 HP. that way you can kill more than 1 person at a time.

Ive messed with something similiar out of bordom and farmed the hulks outside sardelic in hm but never thought of using iw - something for me to try .
Btw why lowest armor .. ive always used max armor on any 55 just to be safe as many times ive had a close shave where ive been hit due to various reasons and luckily survived

Low armor is used for [[Spirit Bond] in 600 builds, but I'v egot no clue why you'd want it here. Maybe it's just cheaper.

I have always done it because it is cheaper, but it isn't necessary.

As far as the scythe goes, yes you can do that. However with 105 health, you are going to need [Shielding Hands] and [Shield of Absorption] rather than [Healing Breeze] to stay alive, and the mesmers are more dangerous if you need almost every skill on your bar to stay alive. If you want to use a scythe, I am sure that Dopefish's Me/E will work better than a 55. His thread is great, check it out for more ideas.

[Spirit Bond] makes a great heal as a 55/105. A full heal every time you get hit, for 10 hits, and a 2 second recharge make for some good tanking

I hate people that say in a thread with a "new" build , that there is a better build.

But as answer, a mesmer can't 600hp everyting, neither can a monk.
So the statement you said about 600hp team kills all, I guess that will be a no, try to kill a party of 3 word of madness. I give wish you good luck and forsee a big fat fail.

Nice build P A L P H R A M O N D, better use a sword cause of faster attack than with an axe.
This build can also kill fire imps if i remember right .

Hmm, this is interesting, never seen it before. It almost makes me want to revive my dusty mesmer again.

You can use it to kill alot of stuff on HM in the Crystal Desert. Works fine for Griffons, Hydras (just time your spell casting in between Meteors) and Hulking Stone Elementals. UW as well, again be aware of what is around and take care of the Dying Nightmare! UW is painfully slow, however, so not really too profitable. Not sure about fire imps, I will have to try it out!

And this isn't really a new build . . . just found it to be quick and reliable so I posted my version. :-)
