Ok i really like the new speed clear for UW, but the hardest thing is this area my team and i have failed like 3 time on this and with everything else done

its all in the skill of the ele running mountain

if you pug a bad ele, then you will likely have problems.

if you run with guild groups, you probably won't. and even if you do, the vale group my guild runs with is capable of doing the mountain quest itself, though we did it with the charged blackness cleared away.

they say the traps... i didnt do mnts becouse i dont want the team 2 fail becouse of me but ppl say that they just cant kill the benemoths becouse of those healing springs or something like that

btw i have done it as an ursan :P

make sure to use a staff and attack the one that is getting hit with sliver armor. also make sure to keep the dryders alive and use them as firepower for sliver armor against the behemoths. i also think using shell shock with lightning att set to 2 works better than finish him (i'm guessing your build is using finish him, pvx is down)

the only time you should be triggering traps is with feigned neutrality up, you stand outside the traps to use sliver. Healing springs are easily interruptable, use a staff and you can keep 3 behemoths interrupted, if your good.

@fawkes, why on earth would you use shell shock instead of finish him? finish him is nearly an instant kill below 50% health on any non-boss creature, shell shock will do pretty much zero damage, and only provides cracked armor. armor ignoring damage + dw and cracked armor > cracked armor and a tiny amount of lightning damage.

if you haven't tried it, don't knock it please. all i know is when i used finish him i was finishing mtns in 14-15 mins, with shell shock i often get 12. perma cracked armor works wonders against behemoths. also note that my titles are extremely low :-/
