Default Need advice/help

Just started permasin after the nerf...33% less dmg so does anyone know of effective places to farm? I tried farming that Assassin boss in Kinya province(easy) but I tried The Scar Eater and he outhealed me...please give me some good places!(HM preferably)

Thanks!

Lol, you should of tried it when it was 50% less damage

Anyway, there are some good degen builds using a [burning speed] [frigid armor] combo mainly used for UW ecto runs. I use a sliver build to farm the scar eater, raptors, FoW, etc. where you will want [ebon battle standard of honor] or [intensity] or [glyph of elemental power] to bypass the damage reduction. Dagger builds will work with [asuran scan] or again [ebon battle standard of honor] for feather farming Nahpui or outside La.

Thanks for the reply! I'm using sliver on Scar Eater too but maybe it's b/c i dont have the Vanguard skill yet...I use intensity but it's not enough ><
Btw are you doign this in HM?
I've seen the degen build before but how well does it work? Doesn't seem like too much dmg to me but I don't know...

yw

The only farm that I don't bother with hm is UW. Your chances of ectos dropping is the same either way and while it can be done in hm, it just takes much longer to do.

The Scar Eater will require pulling a couple groups of aggro for sliver to have enough fire power, just make sure to avoid the skill hungry gakis.

As far as farming monk bosses in general, I'll sometimes throw on [jagged strike][exhausting assault]. They steadily spam out their energy from the degen and soon are too exhausted to effectively out heal much.

Thank god(i mean Damian... :P) a way to counter Scar Eater! I did try pulling the groups over and there was no skill hungry gaki but I guess my dmg output wasnt enough...those 2 dagger skills are useful... :O Thanks again!

You should get Vang skill asap adds about 8 to each hit imo, so thats double the damg you are doing now. So the sooner u get it the more time saved on each farm, saving you time over all.
