Hey Jade.

I still dont get how you keep SoA up 24/7 with that setup for Gates of Kryta.
I did it aswell well but it always seems SoA will be off for like 0.5 seconds and i get killed then. I even tried it with Blessed Aura on 15 attribute ( over 30% longer then ) and i still cant seem to chain SoA . ( yes i use 20% longer weapon ofcourse )

A very good place to farm granite slabs and charcoal is outside Sardelac Sanitarium in HM, from the Hulking Stone Elementals.

[Meteor Shower][Lava Font][Savannah Heat][Bed of Coals][Phoenix][Armor of Earth][Stoneflesh Aura]

You can use a Glyph of some kind to conserve energy, or a a run skill or extra damage skill. It is a pretty easy farm, you can do it just fine with a lot of different attribute point distributions, and if you use to Superior Runes to max out Earth and Fire magic, the farm is painfully easy.

I am sure this could be done with a 55 monk, mesmer, anything really. I have only tried with an ele though.

As far as equipment goes, I use all Radiant armor, and a Exuro's Will. It would be best to use Radiant armor, and possibly a 20% enchantment weapon. The Hulking Stone Elementals do not really have anything that can hurt you, and the the only problem I ever ran across when first starting was not killing them in one wave, and then not having enough energy to keep up the enchants and finish them off.

you need Blessed Aura at 30% and SoA at 14 or more so you get the 7 secs out of it

I use smite instead of judge's intervention, find that to be a bit faster.

Dark Remains salvage to less dust than you can actually end up buying with the value of each dark remains....60gp means it's best to sell them outright. You get more dust per hour farming gates of kryta in hard mode, you don't need to take someone else along to help, and you don't need to pay 1k to enter bergen. the time it takes to farm FoW you can probably make the run through nebo to Cursed lands and vanquish it. Yes, you can solo vanquish cursed lands with a 55 smiter build.

For the math:
At 7sec +30%+20% you get a 10.5sec=>10sec duration. (tested)
But SoA is 10sec recast and you need 1sec to cast.
So you'll ever end with a 0.5sec unprotected.
So you'll ever end with a 1sec unprotected.
(I d't consider the 10% recast from firy flame spitter)

To keep SoA 24/24 you'll need +32% (10,64sec =>11sec) which will kill your damages.

But like most people, I do the run fairly easy, just time well when to cast first SoA once the huge spawn is activated.

EDIT see bellow

Enchantment durations are rounded to the nearest second. You can test it with the pulses from [[Balthazar's Aura], or count the number of frames from a captured game video.

edit: I am unsure what method of rounding is used.
