I cant make it to the chaos planes could you post a few more pics on how to get there? After killing smites i usually try and make it there somehow i always end up confronting 2 blackness grps is this normal?From step 4 the 4th pic im lost after that i iknow i crossed a bridge and actually eneded up in a few dead ends any help is welcomed thank you

Ok... I got a "noob" question. Dont the smites scatter from vengeful?

None of the videos show you or anyone else killing the "huge black minotaurs" in the beginning... or the dying nightmares... Can you even kill those? or you just skip em?

I wish someone would post a video of you getting from the very beginning to the smites without skipping any parts. With the actual running to them and all that. I havent done UW in ages since it was possible with a SOJ monk.

Also, what weapons are you using?

I can't make it to the Chaos Plains either.. I can make it to entrace of the chaos plains but theres always like 5 benemoths and at least 3 charging darkness.. i just get spiked down :S Tips? Help! :S

Just cast "resilent weapon" and run past the 2 charged blacknesses and get lucky

. Do not run to close to the Behemoth's (or something), you will be trapped. Run past them at the right side (the behemoth's infront of the entrance). When you know the route to the chaos plains, and you are fast (because you know the route), then you are faster then the 2 charged blacknesses, and they are not infront of the entrance

First thing you do is taking the quest from the Ghost. Run back and lure 1 group of the Grasping Darknesses. Make sure to cast VwK AFTER Bonetti's Defense. Repeat this with the other groups.

Now all the doors should open (you don't kill the bulls) Run to the Smites.
I don't have a video of it but I think the Youtube links at the first page should show the run. I hope this helps you out

The smites don't scatter if you only lure 1 group.

The huge black minotaurs or Aatxes can't be killed with this build. For the dying nightmares: just cast VwK or vengeful weapon and they kill themselves.

Weapons dont rly matter i think, i use my exalted aegis and a razorstone.

Groups of 4 or 5 are not uncommon, and 3+ causes scatter.

Answers to question´s:

*For the run (including chaos plains and bone pits), smites, banished dreamriders, Mindblade spectres and the dead collectors and treshers drop ecto´s the rest doesn´t drop ecto´s.

* The best build:

1: Resilent weapon
2: VwK
3: Vengeful weapon or Soothing memories
4: Drunken-Desperation Blow
5: Bonetti´s Defence
6: Dolyak Signet
7: Healing Signet
8: Sprint

Smoothing is saver for in the chaos plains, because the spectre´s use "ignorance" so you can´t use healing signet. Also if you have VwK in your hands and you use Sm you gain 3 energy

.So this choice is up to you either Vw or Sm (skill 3).

Hopefully I answerd the question´s right for you guys

I was just wondering what the average ecto drop rate is for a smite run? I've done around 15-20 runs in the past week and all I've gotten is 3 ectos.
Does anti-farming code apply for both the UW and FoW considering these areas are meant to be farmed?

15-20 runs and only 3 ectos?:O well..they are about 10k each now but it's still not much I guess it's bad luck. I don't know much about the anti-farming code but my advise to you is to farm some other easy areas like Witman's Folly or another easy one after you've done like 5-10 runs.

At the moment I'm working on some easy fast money making builds for some specific areas which you can farm when the anti-farm code is applied. So no difficult solo builds but money making farming builds! (some might be already known but whatever) will post them soon

Lol i I finally found the chaos planes didnt know you had to hang a lil left and run down those stairs!yes i always made to that area before blackness come.I just kept venturing into the unkwon lol.Killed the dream rider dam interrupts then got owned by those mind spectres.Any tips on how to take them out?In those pics for smites u have a diff build from the run goin to chaos planes.Do both work in each area?Ok didnt see that post on best build thanks
