I've been trying to farm in HM, but no luck. Keep getting killed by the Stone Summits near Thom.

I'm using Dwarven Stability to make Dark Escape last twice as long. I dropped Flame Djinn for Feigned Neutrality and also added I'm Unstoppable, but that skill only last for 20secs.

Any tips?

Yeap, that and Aftershock. I guess I need to get my H/H nuking faster and knock them down before they can knock me down.

So you are dying at the wall? not the run there? You have a monk to heal you + your healing.

i dont see why this is such a big deal me and some friends and heros could clear it in around 10 mins, whole dungeon in 25, which respectively we could go ever faster if we had a full team but i never saw it as impressive. I realized that technically you could farm this chest over and over months ago but the drop rate is too low for me to have ever cared since it would be easier to just go farm for one

Yeap, in that corner. My henchie monk are healing me as well as my other H/H.

So far, I did 1 successfuly run in HM.

Hmmm well i was SSing with my necro, when my team complained that I wasn't doing enough damage. How much does an ele do?

Yeah, the Death Nova can kill you quick in HM.

Try taking Symbiosis on the ranger, this can get your health up high enough to tank the Nova's, sometimes the Modjiinr will cast this in range, but you can take it on your own. With SF, and Dwarven, plus your own heal and prots from Monk, you will have a nice cache. Havent really run into issues with the summit living longer.

Other option is to kill the MM summits first, which is kinda hard with the AoE nukes.

In HM I've had many successful runs, sometimes had to use dp removal, but so far 100% success rate.

Well its pretty nice getting a HM dungeon chest in 3 minutes (minus 2 minute run time), I can see it being profitable since people actually pay for like an hour long run for one with worse drops at doomlore. A nice HM dungeon chest w/ a chance for expensive drops in 5 minutes time total seems pretty damn nice to me, perhaps you shit out money though?

I poops 10-30k on an hourly basis, kinda sucks to sleep for more than 6hrs, my bed fills up with gold.

I don't have any ele so I have to run it using my sin, and I seem to die a fair bit :S I die before I get in range for the monks to heal me. My build is (I dont know how to do it the flash way):

Attributes: 16 Shadow Arts, 9 Fire Magic (for the focus)

Glyph of Swiftness
Deadly Paradox
Shadowform
"I am Unstoppable!"
Dark Escape
Dash
Deaths Charge
Heart of Shadow

Usually what happens is IAU! runs out (16 seconds) and I get trample and aftershocked to death. Any tips? I'm using a fire magic focus to reach 49 energy total but I still seem to run low on energyish.

Edit: Attributes.

im just gonna say that you can guarantee those times nowadays with how bad pugs have become and you're not gonna h/h it as quickly as you would with a good team. Also considering the time it takes to form a group with people quitting because its taking to long, some people wait a long time before they can even start a run. and on top of that they might fail. and even if they do succeed the chances of it dropping are pretty damn slim. maybe its because i have one that i dont really care but anways it's still a waste of time imo

Edit: lol, just did a few HM runs as a Arcane Echo/SS Necro. Last run of the night, some ele got a req 9 voltaic and over half of my drops for the evening were onyx and diamonds. That chest hates me with a passion. :S

Get drunk take dwarven, keep dark escape up to 1/2 damage, deaths charge if you need to right as you aggro tommis, it should be just recharged as you get into corner.

IAU is more of a back up if you run outta drunk.

If this run works it means nothing less and nothing more that soon prices of Voltaic Spear will drop like Elemental Swords. You can imagine - Voltaic Spear for 15k

Thats why I sold my q12 Voltaic Spear for 100k and 45e until it will be worth nothing and i wish You the same.

Well, while this is the natural course of thought, I'm actually not so sure of it now. Having done the run a fair amount of times yesterday (in hm no less) with full groups of human players and not seeing a single voltaic drop, I'm convinced that the drop rate is much lower than some of the people here are trying to make out. I think that some people are trying to create undue panic in order to drive down prices, buy them up at said prices, then wait for the panic to die down and reap profit. Certainly wouldn't be the first time people tried to manipulate the economy with doom scenarios.

I did runs from 3:00 P.M. up to 1:00 A.M. last night in HM with a full party. Got it down to 12 minutes including running, zoning, and going again and we took no breaks. No one in the group ever got a Voltaic Spear so I agree with Lordheinous, I think the drop rate is much lower then we are being lead to believe and people may be just trying to cause panic to drive price down.

To be honest, I think it would be really, really hard to find out just exactly how often these drop w/o some word from Anet. However, to provide some re-assurance as others have, here's picture of the voltaic that dropped in one of last night's runs.
