Your right about the reproductions the more advanced 55hp monk already knew about most of the spots, but for the just started 55hp monks this is are some pretty nice spots.

I would advice: instead of taking Healing breeze+Mending take Mystic Regen
the combo Prot spirit+ Soa+Shielding hands is better for Napui Quarter and some of the other spots

Hehe, i haven't been back to the Defend quests yet to attempt a clearance on HM. I solo'ed the Defend Denravi quest on both my Mesmer and Dervish (derv was a little more tense but faster). I think my mesmer has taken the reward though sadly, my Derv still has them uncollected so i may give it a go once i can finally leave the Boardwalk without feeling bad for missing out on Lucky

i made a way to farm whole Urgoz Warren in hard mode with assassin one hand cutted off and eyes blinded hehe :P NOT TELLING YOU!!

my addition (no the builds nor the spot aren't new, just tested in HM):
either the E/me (same old build) for the kappas outside of gyala, or 55 necro with SS. I used 16 curses/12 prot/5 blood with
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill][skill]Shielding Hands[/skill][skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill][skill]Watchful Spirit[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill]

For the Ele, I wont describe other than to say the terratank mod with echo SF works great in HM still. The Necro uses basically the same technique as anywhere else with IP being useful for healing as well as removing one that just won't die with the pack more quickly.

And might you be able to direct me to some good, profitable places to farm with that build? ... Perhaps some places that might have nice gold weapons that I could get perfect mods from? I've tried it in Anvil Rock... but the Minotaurs (which despite loving to run away, regenerate and come back, are still quite easy to kill) only seem to drop complete crap...

I gave a few runs of Anvil Rock with the W/D, i couldn't kill the Warrior Boss, which i guess might partly explain why my drops were awful. It just wasn't worth the effort. Think i got a Warrior Tome, considering that they're the easiest tomes to get in the game thats hardly a good drop.

Edit: Seems Witte gets special treatment from the mods. They even change the definition of 'flaming' for him.

well in addition to the spot I already said would work (the kappas right outside of Gyala) the bugs die nicely outside of sunspear hall. I also use the healing breeze/mending variant in cliffs of dohjok on corsairs (only some of the groups) and the skales (also in issnur isles).

^^ corsairs/bugs on NF starter island (in HM) have the best chances of dropping something worth a *lot*, ie blade axes, collosal scimitars, req9 gold spiked clubs

in my opinion. As such even though the chances aren't great, personally I'd recommend those guys if you really wanna make money, but its still an outside longshot. I personally have been farming just for tattooed scimitars because I want one, all I keep getting are other things sadly. But hey, why not just farm for whatever you actually want? What are you gonna use all that money for anyways? (this from someone who had it and never found a use for it).

More Nightfall farming spots, and I haven't completely Nightfall yet with any character... v_v;

Perhaps I'll try the Mantids outside Ran Musu Gardens... I'm not sure what they'll drop in terms of loot... probably not much of worth... but there are a lot of them and they're pretty much all the same. How hard could it be? [Famous last words]...

Platinum blades are rare throughout cantha, and as far as I know nothing is really likely to drop them. My guess as too best bet are the jade knights outside of marketplace.

Shadow axes are DoA only drops, try E/A gloom?

Fiery gladius I would do Consulate docks for (Kournans), (edit) or for something really repetetive, those 2 guys at the shrine right outside of kodonur crossroads.

hm..Platinum Swords drop in Factions and Shadow Axes and Fiery Gladius drop in Nightfall so far I know. Jade Brotherhoods should drop those Platinum Blades.
