Default Witte's HM Solo Farm

Hi there,

Since the introduction of Hardmode (will call it HM from now) there seem to be allot of problems around farming. The main questions are: where can I farm now? and which place is the most profitable?

Well, I've tried some things and came up with some ideas of which some already exist. I'll try to update this thread with each build and place I'll find.

"Loot now scales according to party size"

-GuildWars.com

"Farming will never be dead. We get less loot? We have to farm more efficient finding faster and better ways to make money. I take the challenge"

-Witte Was

The Fissure of Woe

*The original build is from KcP*

[skill]healing breeze[/skill] [skill]protective spirit[/skill] [skill]vigorous spirit[/skill] [skill]spiteful spirit[/skill] [skill]insidious parasite[/skill] [skill]mending[/skill] [skill]essence bond[/skill] [skill]balthazar's spirit[/skill]

Curses: 12
Healing Prayers: 13 (9+3+1)
Smiting Prayers: 3 (0+3)
Protection Prayers: 9 (6+3)
Divine Favor: 9 (6+3)

Cast your enchantments and take the left way. Stay next to the monk so the SS will also hit him when you cast it on the Shadow Warriors. He'll die soon enough. Finish the Warriors and Shadows with SS + IP.

Watch out for Shadow Mesmers! This is why you brought Vigorous Spirit. Use it as cover enchantment!

With this build you can easily take out the whole shadow army and more. I'll try to get more screenshots and maybe a video for this!
*Note: it might be difficult the first time you try*

I hadn't even thought about the mergoyles (A-net nerfed drop rates for those guys so long ago I would just notice them as I ran by smite hexing off their snares)

Shielding Hands + Shield of Absorption works much better than Mending + Healing breeze. (Especially agianst large groups)

If you want a few more Monk/Necro spots see this post.

I use pretty much the same build on a N/Mo (Blessed sig --> Awaken the blood), works fine as well. You have to refresh prot spirit and breeze more often, but you also kill things slightly faster.

Do you know if there are any easily-accessible bosses you can kill with SS? Elite tomes sell for good money :P

Doesn't IAS cap at 33% from more than one effect? Because Hard Mode mobs already have +50% attack speed so Reckless Haste won't give them anymore...

I've had the titan farm marked down in the "What/Where to farm in HM" thread for at least 24 hours now, I just didn't include screenshots.

will i need to buy start armor to try this 55 build? i am not familiar with running 55 builds so any suggestions will be great.

Also where else can i get the -55 off-hand if i dont have access to pre-searing?
