Default Best place for special event farming?

I'm trying to find the best place for special event drop farmings (like grog). What places would you guys suggest? Since, to the best of my knowledge, any enemy drops the items, the enemies can be lvl 1 for all I care. I'm only interested in the special items, not the normal loot. I'm just looking for places where I can very quickly aggro and kill very large amounts of foes. Any suggestions?

Fwiw, most builds for farming the raptor nestlings can kill the normal raptors too, and you can get a half dozen or so more kills if you just wait ~10 seconds in front of the cave before you aggro (due to raptors coming up behind you and aggroing).

How about Kilroy's Extravaganza(in HM)? Some time ago i got pretty nice Summit/Event Items ratio. + there's small, but still existant chance for Elite Warrior Tome(s)... Or maybe Raptors better..

I managed 21 Grogs, 2 black dye's in 2 solo runs (about 30 minutes total) through the Plains of Jarin. Is that good? Can't beat facing mobs of level 2 termites and spiders.

It's not that profitable in NM, but opening the gates at Nolani Academy and nuking charr is damn fast (1-1.5 mins a run) and averages 1-2 grogs a run.

Well, while there are the obvious places that everyone here seems to be shouting out, it really comes down to this = it's not the enemy or the area, it's the time and sheer number, raptors seem to be the best at the moment cause it's like a minute and a half for a run of 34 raptors, BUT, i'm sure there are other places where you could kill a larger number of enemies in a faster time frame, it's all about figuring out where and what that farm entails that gives yeh an advantage.

So essential, lots of corpses in the lowest amount of time = the most event drops.

Though it is advisable not to go on a low level killing rampage always, cause sometimes they don't drop things as frequently.

Though there are some exceptions it seems, what with how people are killing out the plains of jarin.

If you do not have RAPTURE Farming Ability. I seem to have good luck Farming Gates of Kryta (mission)

Lots of dead and a collector drop to hang on to for events. Dyes drop pretty well to.
