Default farming festival items

hey
i've seen people on this forum offering many stacks of grog for example.
my question is how do they get so much of it. some1 even offered 85 stacks.
thats 85 stacks farmed in just 2 days.
is there a place to farm solo and killing a lot of mobs in the time?

do a search, there's a thousand threads stating the festival item drop: raptor, vattir.

If you want to store up to 85 stacks, the only way is have tons of money at hand during event. I myself bought 10 stacks within 1 hr of spamming wtb. Ppl sell as low as 250g each grog during that time.

Yup, it's called Power Trading.

1) Buy Grog for 300-325g ea
2) Sell for 350-400g ea.
3) Profit!!!

Some people may well farm all year round for some festival items.

I tend never to sell of charr carvings and the like so when the collectors appear I am fairly well prepared.

edit
Much of the festival item gathering doesnt require special builds since lots of the collector items are in start areas where the opposition is anything from lvl 1 to 8 pretty easy for a lvl 20 solo character

This is a completely different thing. What the OP is asking about is how people get so much of something that only drops on one weekend, like the grog did, not about how they get stuff you trade for on Wintersday and stuff.
