I was reading in the Big necro guide about necromancers being able to farm the cath of flames. I was wondering if anyone has a in-depth thread about this. Like skills to bring, equip, runes and that stuff. Thanks!

standard 600 runes and build. All survivor's and vitae's. and obviously bonds. I've recently been trying to 600/smite/famine necro style shards of orr. But that isnt going so well. Im about 90% sure wherever a monk 600 can farm a necro 600 can farm. Dont be afraid to try new things

Honestly,any prof can 600.

I've seen mesmers and rits do it(rit obviously had a moded build with VwK).

I think the best professions for 600ing would be Monk (obivously) Ritualist (obviously) Elementalist (use Obsidian Flesh instead of Spell Breaker, and use lots of armor skills) Necromancer (Blood Life Steal for healing and Curses for additional damage) and Dervish (maintain Vow of Silence, bring Heart of Holy Flame, Mystic Healing, Vital Blessing, and other healing/holy damage*when doing undead* skills for when VoS runs out and gets int).

The main point of the 600 is to stay alive, but with other things it is possible to also deal damage (blood magic for example).

I once tried making an Earth Ele 600 and a Dervish 600 (which would, in fact, be 625). But I got bored in all the skills I had to get so I just gave up on those.

standard 600 armor with as much health as you can get head piece soul reaping with a minor soul reaping rune weapon can be anything as long as you have 20% to enchants the build i run in CoF on my necro is prot spirit, spirit bond, shield of absorption, necross, reapers mark, vital blessing, essance bond, and life attunement. temp code OANCY8zU9wdlW0NIKj+A9QIB

strictly speaking, thats not the 600 build, as it uses as low armor as it can get to receive enough damage to kill enemies with simiters bonds. but yeah, terra tanks are pretty immortal, you gotta invent another way to kill enemies though

Heya,

Here's the 600ss thread I wrote. Intended to get the SS through UW but a lot of the quests got me stuck. You can use it ( with minor skill changes) to get shards or like most 600 builds farm pretty much anywhere.
