My favorite titles are the Lucky/Unlucky chains and the Luxon-groupie one.
One of my favorite things to do in GW is building up a new character. I've deleted Legendary Survivors in FoW, guys that were 2 years old, ... just to be able to create a new guy that could run around Shing Jea again (and yeah, bringing a lvl20 guy there just doesn't feel the same ...).
So losing all gear wouldn't pose the slightest problem. I'd just make a new ritualist ...

If on the other hand my account would be banned and lost my above listed titles, then I don't know if I'd continue playing. I've invested WAAAY to much AFK-ing into Lucky to just start over ...

If I lost every penny, yes. If I lost my characters I'd be done.

Is this some poll to see who you can hax and cares the less?

Or who cares the most?

What should I answer?

If I don't care then you break in knowing you're doing no moral harm. If I do care then you break in to screw those that care the most.

*looks over his shoulder*

i hope alfie is kidding seriously. this is not a poll nor am i "haxing" wtf??? haxing lmao. anyways this is just a reflection of all the people who have achieved wealth titles status of any kind at all. it is directed towards those players that feel they have really accomplished what they wanted out of the game AND whether or not they would re-invest all the time required to get back where they were.

one year ago i wouldnt have batted an eyelash at it, absolutely i would have got right back after it. now i just dont think id have the interest ,drive, whatever ya want to call it to get back to where i am now.

Cronk

maybe thats the difference between those that play because they love the game and those that have to have a reason to play?

<<< keep the comments coming there is a larger picture that will snap into focus once i have enough responses>>> thanks

Yes.

I'd be a bit p1$$ed off if I lost everything. Braces, ectos, mini's, skins... took quite a bit of effort to get some of those.
But I'll calm down eventually and continue playing.
At least until Aion, D3 or GW2...

I think I will not go back. GW is wonderful game but I would just not start anything from scratch again. I could survive loss of minis. titles etc but I would not want to go around every corner and redo all the quests/missions again. I guess I might restrict myself to pvp and pre-searing for a while but I am not sure it will work for a long. In other words I would probably quit the game after some time this happened.

I think me buying and starting new characters many times should answer your question. only if I have the money and time to invest into this game further, but I don't! I don't even have time to log in for the Halloween Reduex that i see players mention here.

Taking a break now, then back to work... tight deadline!!!!!! damn it, I am going to miss the AB weekend again.

If I lost everything... Well, I guess it'd take me about a day to get max armor and weapons for my main avatars again. So no big loss.

Only really play two characters so I would only work on them if I lost everything.

I know all of us would be hitting the gold sites lol.

If I lost all gold/weapons/armour, then I'd keep playing and working on titles as usual and rebuild wealth over time. gold/weapons/armour aren't quite as important as the time investment put into the achievements.

If I lost the characters too then I'd keep playing, but would not work on titles. I don't work on titles that much as I play mostly for fun and the social aspect of the game. Once I got a couple of characters back in a fit state to do HM dungeons and play with guildies I'd be quite happy to keep playing.

If my account was banned or stolen, then I wouldn't return to the game.

I start again, you'd still have your account wide titles like the PvP ones and Lucky etc. Might be quite refreshing to view the world through a newbs eyes again.

No. No way would I start over. I have a hard time finding the desire to log in as it is, and a technological hurdle to overcome before I even can. Not motivated to do that. Three things would deter me from starting over. They even deter me right now from logging in:

Play has shifted dramatically towards AI usage. Much of the fun I got from playing was in all-human groups and that's just too rare these days.

New areas to explore, new monsters and items to find, but there is no more new content.

Limited character development and the use of max-stat skins. Great at first, but over time, I found little to strive for, which was the death knell for me given the previous two things I loved had begun to fade or come to an end.

Interesting question. For myself the answer is no,- I've spend way too much time taking my main char through everything and getting GWAMM. Just thinking about having to do it all over brings tears to my eyes!
