Default Would you or wouldnt you?

i was sittin in a town recently finding myself more bored then normal and a question struck me. If i lost all my gear loot etc would i start over at this point in the game. (meaning at this point in time of the GW shelf life).my question is would you? now dont flame and scream and holler.

if the post is in the wrong spot i apologize.

When i sat and thought about it for a minute i dont think i would. when i started this game in the way long ago everything is fun right. wealth just kinda accumulates. As i progressed through the game i started doin UW Fow soloing this and that, then the gold begins to pile. everything becomes a bench mark to hit and work towards. at least thats how it was for me. now im sittin with stupid amounts of gold blowing it on Zkeys for the most part. lol. <Enormous waste> heh. anyways im not strokin the e peen but i figure i might have like 3-4 million in gold and ecto and if it poof went away i think id just shelf GW. what would you do?

Cronk

PS maybe this is more a question if i should even be playing anymore lmao?

Yes. Well, I'd continue to play as much as I do now... which isn't very much at all.

I'd be annoyed at having to use ugly-looking PvP chars though >.>

I'd probably be to depressed about all the hours put into the lost chars to play right away. Would I go back? I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if I'd go back after all that work, I might just start anew with GW2. Then again I'd be reminded of all the extra stuff we might get from titles and such, so I'd probably remake my character(s) again.

i like to start from scratch. always have in past games i played.

but it would have to be all items AND characters. just losing all the loot would feel more like a waste than a fresh start.

I would make a ranger ele war and monk, get them semi-decent skins, and a set of 75k armor and AB,talk and RA like i always do.

Soo,yes,if i could keep my main account i would restart.

Under my schedule, it'd take too much time to regain so much work that I've put into all my character, along with a few precious things that I've earned/done.

If I didn't have anything to lose, or rather, I was a new player to the game, I'd probably try to make one new character and only focus on it.

I might start back over with no gold, assets, or built up characters. Id probably make a female character and stand in presearing and pretend i was a newb asking for help on "how do i play this game" Ive noticed that lots of players will assume that a female character has a female playing it and in turn will offer all kinds of assistance.

Depends.

If I just lost the armor weapons and money, I don't see why not. Borrow cash from a friend, get max 1k armor, farm a bit, pay them back, go on as I did.

If I lose the characters themselves. I'd probably remake my Necromancer, but hardly play *just do enough so that I can participate in community events - the biggest reason why I still play*. No biggie. I just wouldn't have anything near GWAMM by the time of GW2. I'd probably only pay attention to the Forum, get on to talk to friends, and be around for events. Other then that, I'd probably play other games.

I would still come online once in a while to chat with friends but I wouldn't continue working on my titles.

if i had to completely restart, i think it would be an interesting thing to do. i recently powered my 30 something month old monk from level 11 to 20, and boy was it refreshing. doing something new is always good. and i basically spend all my money all the time anyways, so having no assets isn't that much of a change.

if i had to do it all again, i would stick with an ele and maybe a monk. just because its fun to play as them.

I'd just quit GW.....Demigod is coming out in a few month and Starcraft2 is coming out in December and so is Red Alert 3(I think). So lots choices out there and GW=trash now anyways filled w/ no lifers and overpriced craps.

I recently got hacked a couple of weeks ago, and lost everything but my armor (they left my chaos gloves ~.^) So yeah, even though I lost everything, I pretty much kept playing, there's PvP to explore if you've been PvE'ing for a while, and the contrary. Plus, there's always friends there to help you out in your time of need
