you get hit by zealots fire if they start casting reversal on themselves...
they shouldn't do that if you have a visage on yourself.

This build PISSES ME OFF.

I can't even get to the smites anymore because I'm constantly getting bad luck with nightmare spawns. WASTE OF MONEY.

First off, if you shout like that you are not motivating ANYONE to help you 'solve' your problems.

Secondly, (you've probably already figured it out, I hope..) its not the build that's giving you problems, but its yourself that's doing something wrong. If your enchants get stripped by NM's you are clearly doing something wrong.
If a NM spawns while you are luring graspings, you have more than enough time to run back into safety together with the graspings. In other words, just ignore him. Run back to the normal place where you kill graspings; NMs won't follow you.
If a NM has spawned while you have to get past him (for example luring graspings), use earthquake/dragonstomp to kill him (remember to use storm djin haste so you can quickly run out if any aatxe decide to come for you).

If you have just taken the time to read things/this thread, you probably didn't have to come to whine here about your retardedness...

I didn't mean to sound like I was shouting, I was just annoyed at the time.

yes I know it's partly (ok, almost entirely) my fault, because with a nice spawn (ie, in the intermediate chamber between grasps and smites, there was no nightmare with the grasping group) and some luck, I've made it to the smites 2/10 times I've tried this build. When I did get to the smites, this build was absolutely outstanding in ease and speed at which it killed the smites. It's shocking how fast they die

Anyway, yes I know it's my fault, and yes I know I need practice, but that time I was just annoyed, as a nightmare spawned as I was just about to enter the tunnel to that intermediate chamber, and then it stripped my enchant just after I'd lost aggro of the 2 aatxes, but they immediately started following me, so I just had to run.. as soon as I was able to reapply storm djinn's haste, it was quickly rended again by the nightmare that had spawned with the graspings in the chamber.

Such annoying luck.

I wouldn't have got any ectos anyway, I get maybe 1 every 3 smite runs.

I dont think its grasping spawns. Just gotta get the feel for the build, know it inside out. For me I dont worry anymore if they are going to interrupt me or if I pull both groups or one. I know the build, and the area enough to survive being dazed and interrupted and still get to smites.

When people first try this build...or any UW or FoW build at that its bound to be hard, after all you are soloing one of the richest parts of the game. 30 mins in the UW can yield atleast 10k. You never know, you might even get some nice gold Stormbow too.

For this build, people come across 6 major problems.
1) Pulling the Graspings and when to start casting.
2) What to do when dazed or interrupted.
3) Running and getting past the pop up nightmares
4) Getting past the coldfires to the last group of smites.

I always put up Mantra of Earth as soon as I spawn. I put on my speed buff, get the quest and get back. I wait for the far left group to turn around and come towards me, cast Striker, Djinn, then Stoneflesh. I then run in (agro bubble touches) turn around and run into the cliff. I set my Z and X buttons to Reverse Direction and Run so all I gotta do is press ZX in sequence wait till I get to the cliff and I start attacking them. I think attacking induces their use of interrupts. If theres 4 Grasping I make sure I hear 4 "Tchk"s you know, the interrupt sound. Then start AV or SV and your killing skills.

If for some reason you do get interrupted (casting SV or AV) then try SS to scatter them. For farming I use Blessed insignias, a vs Earth shield and a +5 armor while casting sword (the Moa one). Thats 92 armor for me in addition to Stone Striker and Mantra reducing damage even further. So even if you are dazed, run around so they cant hit you as much and then cast something like aftershock to lure their interrupts. Hit SV or AV whatever you brought and refresh from there.

To get past the pop up nightmares is a little more random. Theres really only 2, but one pops about 1/5 the time. The first is the one as soon as you get into the little cave area that's blocked off until you finish the quest. Keep your speed boost on and if you have paid attention to the wiki guide, you would have ran when the other Aatxes are on the other side. No need to worry then, keep running forwards even after you get stripped. as soon as the Aatxes behind you have stropped chasing, kill the nightmare and run back. Wait for the next opportunity to run. The second nightmare is about halfway to the ice wastes. This guy can pose a problem. By then hopefully your speedbuff has recharged. If the graspings are after you, cast something big (2 sec spell) and then recast Storm Djinn's Haste and go.

Lastly, getting to the last mob of smites. Wait just outside of the Patrolling coldfire's agro and wait for them to pass. As they move, you can move ever so slowly. As soon as you are in the clear, make a run for the end wall, and kill smites.

No, or else you won't be able to run this build.

Sandstorm is in the Earth line of attributes, the same with the other Earth related skills that are placed into use here. By doing, your taking away from all other attributes in order to have Savannah be a remote possibility to do any form of damage.

Trust me, stick with Storm.

1) before taking the quest, control the DNs, just run up to the stairs (on both side) and you're done, if any of them spawn then just kill 'em either with wand or earthquake.

2) when you cleared the chamber and you're up to move to smiters, always time with the patrolling grasping w/ (or w/o DN sometimes). Cast SDH wait about till 1/2 is recharged then start running, if any DN spawn wait it to desenchant SDH, recast and start running again.

3) always expect a DN to spawn, there 4 spawn points before the smiters and about other 4-5 in smiters area. Usually you find only 2,3,4 but it is better to be prepared.

If you practice a bit, bad luck will affect only your time run. (9min - 14 min depening on spawns)

But i dont get one thing, i have max earth magic, and stoenflesh is still 16 seconds duration for me,
How i get 17seconds, like in build?

^I'm not actually sure what you mean, maybe your talking about Stoneflesh Aura before nerf. But use 20% longer enchantments on your staff and you can maintain Stoneflesh Aura all the time.

That was before the nerf, they reduced the duration so now if we want constant visage we have to take up 2 skill bars (ancestor's, and sympathetic)

I use an earth staff of enchanting with + 30 hp, it is good vs DN
and a storm bow of enchanting too (useful for smiters)
