well i believe perma SF will be nerfed soon(hope so) and im pretty sure 600/smite will never be nerfed and they are about equally versatile. O and for the perma silver plan on doing alot of rep point farms since that build needs a variety of pve skills to work best

Sin is a bit more versatile and kills much faster.

LOL since when can a perma sin kill an entire mob in seconds...perma sins are pretty slow farmers MOST of the time... also can you name a place, in HM besides UW, that a perma sin can farm that a 600/smite cant?

+1
Too many mobs easily outdamages a 600 monk, it also relies on that everything acctualy DIES, if not -> Energy - 0, Spellbreaker - Gone (unless perma SB, but energy is a prob here).

Perma sins can farm anywhere there is untargeted enchantment removal. i.e signets, etc.

where

600/smite cant with stand it becuz Spell breaker only last for so long.

and you obviously underestimate the sin, i remember a lot of mobs a sin could kill in seconds or still can. a few example Mindblades in the UW was one but since it was overpowered and to good of a farm it was nerfed, and the vaetirr farm i mentioned in a previous thread that i quoted you on can kill a mob of 24 and a mob of 36 in seconds, and pre-nerf Shadowform you could kill the mob of raptors in seconds there is many others.

600/smite works but by no means is it the fastest. A good team can troll thru alot of things. 600/smite is so popular is becuz its a great way to make money if your good at it. Many dungeons can be ran with 600/smite that have a great turn out at the end if your lucky,

15k a head for CoK *5 = 75k in about 30-45mins worth of time
same goes for SoO,Rragers,Ooze pit, Oola's Lab, and of course CoF but CoF runs are for the weak at heart, those who dont wanna step up to the challenge and be a real 600/smite.

Make both and see which works better. Im leaning towards the sin side, even with the QQ nerf. Might as well have some fun while your farming...

yeah, i am going to make a 55 for Uw and also gear it for 600 for dungeon farming in EoTN, my sin that i have now, has become my runner I ran people for like 3k, and he can run that passage from Beacon's Perch to Camp Rankor.

I doubt SF will be nerfed, most probably they will find a way to nerf the Ele builds abusing it, or maybe add something in UW (like NPCs not giving quests unless 2-or more people are in radar range). Anyway if I have to pick a build, I prefer 600/smite more.

I think you guys are downplaying the biggest difference here......

Perma = 1 person
600/smite = 2 people

The fact that there is even a debate over which is "better" clearly shows that the Sin has a huge advantage......in that its ONLY ONE PERSON.

I have both......as well as ele, rit, necro etc etc etc.....I use my monk to run dungeons, that's it these days. EVERYTHING else almost without exception is better done on a Perma.

If you disagree, feel free to continue sharing half your drops with another player or losing them completely to your smiter hero. 600/smite may be faster, but i wouldn't say it's twice as fast, which it would need to be to even be competition to the Sin.
