Default I'm in between and rock and a hard place.. =(

I have a Dervish, who which I thought would be able to actually solo some good stuff. So he is now becoming a D/A and going to run Droks.

I have a permasin, that hasn't completed any of the campaigns so I don't have hard mode at all.

I want to run stuff like services. (Running, Dungeons, Missions) stuff like that for a profit.

Should I make a Monk?

Or should I make an Ele?

Lol thanks for the insight.

If its running you want, the permasin would be a good choice there and you dont need HM for that.
D/W Can farm raptors and for holiday drops thats ok in NM.

However dungeons, missions etc its gotta be 600/Smite Monk, look at the Dungeon build thread here for the main reason why. Never done it properly myself but it should net you some money.

Either that or just pull your finger out, finish a few campaigns EotN noteably and then go bomb some Vaettir or massacre some Raptors either way from now till Sunday = Profit!

running dungeons and missions are the thing for 600/smite monks, running can be done with both your dervishes but also with a permasin.

I know Assassins, Dervishes, and Monks can run, but I'm not sure if Elementalists have any good run builds.

Any character on your account who has beaten a game unlocks HM for all your other lvl 20 characters. Are you saying you have never beaten any of the games? If so, beat the games....then do stuff.

You also can't run any of the dungeons and stuff without HM since most people want that / want double items.

start by beating all the games with at least one character, that'll open alot of options up.

It takes a lot of time and patience to learn the Droks run most runner practice it in over months.

What the hell are you talking about? It's very easy to run as a D/A. I successfully did a droks run with a D/A without problems my first time. I have no clue who you know, but if it took them months to learn how to do a droks run with a D/A, they're probably really horrible at the game.

running droks isn't so difficult, its kinda the spawn situation and your knowledge of the run that will get you by. My suggestion is to get to know the run, all the spawns and enemies that pop up i.e. the stupid ass wurms that knock you down.

perma sin is a good choice to farm alot of stuff. And if you have beaten any of the games with one char, it unlocks Hm for all chars. if you haven't well beat a game then do Hm.

Dervish and Assassin primaries can bypass all that practice because of the skills available to their professions. It's only more difficult to learn if you are doing the old "Bold Forge Runner" W/Mo variant, or one of the Ranger or other class builds.

@OP: You need to unlock Hard Mode before you offer mission or dungeon services. You don't need to do that to run from place to place.

Those are Ex. W/Mo Bold Forge runners and know the run well it is just they find it easy. They were lookign for some thing different than using thier War. as you have VoS.I surprised you didn't know this.

It is easy if you fought your way up Droks a few times to learn the spawns.

Agreed, get HM unlocked and make an ele...ele's have the most farming utility of any profession in the game (sorry, 600's and 55'ers). Solo-farming as an ele allows you to farm weapons, materials, etc. and they are also the main component to running UnderWorld Speed Clears (UWSC) which will earn you a ton of cash

ok, heres my opinions (brace yourselves!) a/e can run nearly anywhere. most effectively to droks. for 2k a pop in nm so no work needed. Then after you learn the route I'd suggest using d/a. OR if u wanna get rich quick do tournament predictions (~100k a month)

I was actually thinking, my dervish isnt at chantry yet so he cant even become D/A.

So I'm going to change my permasin to A/D and run droks as a speedy Perma.

And the Monk is just for UW, dungeons, FOW and stuff like that. Mainly it's going to be my character that I beat all the campaigns and EoTN with, then I'll farm with it, and my permasin.
