That's just a version of my mist form ranger build. I would use Glyph of Sacrifice instead of Concentration. It more or less does the same thing (prevents your Mist Form from being interrupted) but it also makes the casting time instantaneous so that you don't need to worry about getting mobbed while casting it. The added recharge is a nonfactor since your skills will all recharge when either the broodmother goes down or Air of Superiority gives you a recharge. Like the ranger build, if you have Mindbender and a decent Asuran Rank, that alone is enough to run you through the cave AND get your Mist Form cast interrupt free since it reduces casting time too. That would free up an additional slot allowing you to add another skill (it would have to be a non-PvE skill).

The spell cast through Glyph of Sacrifice casts in 1/4 second.

The AI have godly interrupts, and WILL interrupt this, especially in HM.

Actually, the in-game description says that the spell casts instantly, not 1/4 sec. So it can't be interrupted (i've never seen it happen).

I used the Mindbender only version for a long time before I switched to an Ele build and it was very dependable. You are usually running far enough in front of them to not get hit anyway. But, yes, even Magnetic Aura which has a 1/4 sec cast gets interrupted sometimes in a mob. Overall Mindbender + Whirling Defense + Magnetic Aura + Throw Dirt + 40% HCT on weapon = extremely low chance that sliver get's interrupted even by the full mob. Now I was doing this with R10 Asuran, so I can see where at lower ranks the lower duration of Mindbender would probably make it ineffective. The reason mindbender is nice is that it allows you to run all the way to the broodmother group before casting mist form. That give you a few more seconds of damage for those crappy instances where the broodmother doesn't get targeted by sliver or Air of Superiority doesn't recharge you.

I question the validity of wiki there. Regardless, in literally thousands of runs depending on glyph of sacrifice to protect my mist form cast, I have NEVER been interrupted while the glyph was active.

I have seen glyph of sacrificed things be interrupted. Most people will queue their spell up right after their glyph, so a well placed interrupt can get it.
Just watch yourself as you cast something under the glyph, and you'll see the casting bar move just like a 1/4 spell.

First off, I want to thank you guys for informing beginners like me on how to farm the right way. These builds are like nothing I've ever seen before and the people who came up with them were definitly thinking outside the box. I have a 55Mo that I used to kill Jade Brothers with, but I wanted to try her out on the Raptors to see how she'd do.

Regarding the raptor pit; I only have 1 of my characters that far and it's a Mo/xx. I did some reading on 55Mo builds and thought I'd try out this one on the raptors... but I keep running into a major problem.

When I draw the crowd in and cast the Shield+B.Aura, it only deals about 75% damage before the raptors scatter and survive. At that point, I usually lose all my energy then die/fail. I tried to lead the pack next to the bone fossil (as described on a youtube video) but that didn't work either.

In short, should I completely give up on trying to 55/Xx the raptor cave; and should I just run my W/Mo, my Ele/Xx, or my R/Xx to Rata since most of the suggested builds involve the Glad's, Silver Armor, Mist Form, or Escape?

To get round them splitting you need to bodyblock them - there is better info on bodyblocking which you may need to search for ( im sure its covered with a diagram as well ), basically to bodyblock you need to get foes with righthand wall beside them and it usually helps to keep them from running off.
in the middle of raptor cave is big rock with broody behind it - when u pull make sure u pull from left side and walk backwards round the rock till all foes are infront of you ( still walking backwards ).It does take a bit of practice but it works on most foes in hm.This method is widely used especually by anyone using sliver
