I'm looking for a area to farm good rare materials, Monsterious Fangs mainly, but sapphires will do too.

Just wondering if anyone knows were I can farm 'em?

I do have HM and I'm a nuker elementist so places were they would be usefull would be great.

advice would be greatly accepted!

Shing Jea is the island where you start as a Factions character. You can get there by talking to a guy outside Marketplace.

But I think he/she meant Jade Sea, since there are no outcasts in Shing Jea

I think Pleikki means Nagas in Shing Jae, as they drop a ton of Monstrous stuff. Sapphires, however are a very rare drop. I don't think you see them often as drops outside the god realms.

Best source of saph might be from farming The Hidden City in NF. If you have a 600/Smite set up, yo ucan vanq. the entire area. Bring some friends along to help with the monk frog there and salvage any geodes/blue djinn essences.

I usually see at least 2 monstrous drops in Vizunah Square, if you were to come up with a good farming build that's probably the quickest route to go.

As Nightow already said, Djinn farming is the fastest way to farm sapphires and other gems. Also remember that you should stick "Measure for Measure" inscriptions on items such as Jeweled Daggers, Ruby Daggers, Jeweled Chakram, etc to improve your odds of salvaging off a gem or gems.

Outcasts are brilliant for theyre drops, so are afflicted, the prob is it nigh on impossible to get a build that can farm either of those two afiliations because of the diversity of theyre builds.... They both have lots of things that counter caster oh so easily, and both have some form of touch skill or lifesteal that makes permaform an unlikly option...

Im after fangs to, but as hard as i try, i have yet to find an up to date build that can give me the results i got when i farmed them before.

hmm, well cheers for the advice, Might farm the Naga since they're in fairly small groups, I'm just farming Fangs to sell for a killing.

I'm new to HM so i'm farming small groups to get used to tactics and stuff. cheers for the help once again!

anyone know the outkast locations in the jade sea?

ive always been kurzick so knowing the forest like the back of my hand i know not much about the jade sea.

I am the exact oppisite, i am luxon ect. go right outside the aurios mines and kill the guys there. there is a necro boss. my VwK build works great there and there easy to take down. in addition to all the crafting materials you can get a green wep, and lots of loot.

Farm any place that drops Jeweled Daggers, Ruby Daggers, & Ruby Mauls. I would suggest Mirror of Lyss, 40 Minute Vanq with 600/Smite

Place Highly Salvage inscriptions before salvaging.

For the claws and fangs id suggest around shing jea island - personally id stock up on them and check which types of armor req them then hang around that area - easier to sell 20 to 1 player for his armor than tryin to sell single ones i find.
Personally id farm feathers - feathers not a rare material but time taken to get 10 claws u may have 2 stacks of feather which without checking prices stack of feathers cud b worth 7k easily.

I got quite a few fangs and claws while farming for the Canthan New Year feast. the easiest places to solo farm seemed to be Boreas Seabed nagas, onis and kraken spawns and the parts of Maishang hills just outside Gyala Hatchery the nagas and kappas seemed to drop them pretty well. Other places dropped them of course but were not as easy to solo.

Agreed. Feathers are really easy to farm if you know where and how to look in NM.
