I have a question about the IDS
I just came back to guild wars from when factions was just released and everything seems to changed. Anyways now I'm use to it, so I decided to try to farm IDS with my perma and I got one.
As I was trying to sell there were a couple of people asking if it had a +30 mod and one of them said that it always comes with an IDS...now I know that it does not always comes with it since I just got a drop and it only had a 15^50
Since it's been awhile, did the mods change on it that now there are ids that drops with a +30.
I thought all ids were the same and the only thing that changed is it's gold now instead of blue.
If someone can help clear up the confusion for me

yes, you are correct. It's only change is that now it drops as a GOLD.

You are correct. The Icy Dragon Sword always drops with the same stats, a 15^50% inherent damage modifier, and the cold damage from the Icy sword hilt, which cannot be removed or changed. It never drops with a sword pommel, +30 or otherwise. The buyer was just looking for a free upgrade. It's likely that some(many, most?) sellers add the health upgrade to encourage the sale.

Since most people sell them with +30, the person you were talking to must have assumed they drop with the weapon.

well i know when they first dropped, they always dropped with a 30 hp mod on it.
