Standard A/E with Sliver? You can even go Perma SF and just add Sliver Armor to the build, perhaps even EBSOH

An old guildie and I cleared the mobs and left the bosses with heroes and then flagged them out of the area. I was a Monk and he was a Warrior that used Ursan I believe (after the balance).
I stood back so I wouldn't aggro and healed him when necessary. It took several zones to get the staff to drop (a good +30 minutes). I can tell you that The Trickster drops more often than Iceblood's Warstaff does, lol.
Just find yourself a friend that has the patience to do this over and over again. It's the only way I know how to farm these bosses.

Tried it with stone flesh. In normal mode it does negate hundred blades. In hard mode you will still take 9 damage with each hit. If you are not taking damage from more than one or two blades at once and can take them out quickly, I think you could manage to overcome that.

The problems, however, are two fold.

1: energy. Maintaining enough energy to keep up sf, damage iceblood and maintain stoneflesh all at once is very hard. I was not able to do it even with zealous weapons. Perhaps with practice it would be possible.

2: the dominators and their rez. If I could have taken out the blades once and for all, I think I could have managed. But with the dominators constantly rezzing them it was impossible. Maybe with practice and careful pulling?

Cons might work but the cost would be prohibitive.

Frankly, I think h/h and then flag them away is the fastest way to go. If you go the back way rather than in the front door there really aren't that many enemies between you and the bosses.

tried with the monk.. came up with a build that could tank all the damage and burning arrow (180 monk with perma sb)- but the ints and then you needed some damage lol just went with the rit- this works on anything.. how I used to farm elite missions solo way back.. but used wanderlust instead back then for even more crazy damage.. it works in ra too- I can remember when gaze was insane.. warrior would run in get pain hex, fall down, then gazed, would roid raged 5 times into retirement

anyways lay the spirits in one location and aggro in another on bosses, or spread out the spirits.. either way not very hard farm in normal- you don't even have to lay them all down on the regular mobs.. but h/h, flag it, get your staff is the best way still

damn that thing is ugly.. but the stats are swizzle

here's how to farm virtually any boss in all the GW games:

1. Clear with h&h, flag away
2. Lay down about 5 spirits (don't even need to be Rit primary), aggro with painful bond
3. Profit
