Default Running TO SoO

Hey guys, having a few problems with running to SoO on a 600/Smite build... i can get to just beyond the res shrine on the island before i agro the lizards who dont seem to like breaking agro in HM.

Any Tips :/

Learn the Spwns and Wait if you time things right you can run from vlox to the dungeon with out ever agroing a foe. Practice makes perfect.

when i run this dungeon i either:

A) Have a guildy run perma and book it to the dungeon entrance starting from Vlox's Falls, exit, take quest, re-enter and go.

or B) Start off from vlox's falls with your team (or heroes) in normal mode. The few enemies you meet should be no problem to kill/run by with prot spirit and spirit bond. Everyone grab's quest, then zone to Gadd's Encampment and switch to HM (this should take about 2minutes). Enter the dungeon, backtrack to the start to pick up Shandra (the npc) and along the way you are killing enemies you would have needed to kill anyways. Once the npc joins you, continue on your merry way.

gl, hope ya get a sweet Bone Dragon staff :P

Can't really explain it without a map, but I head right at the start. You shouldnt aggro any Kraits until you get to the water, after that you just run over the island (with the res) and then go around (the left) of the next island, the Kraits have a patrol (which you can wait for) or you can just dart for it. Maintain PS and SB, whilst using SC and kiting.

If you are just doing the run solo, you can just wait until the timer finishes and take the quest when you spawn in <?>, and re-enter from Vlox's Fall.

I just get run GWx2 and have my 2nd account run there with a Permaform, who also helps clear some levels faster.

yeah as fallen said, very easy run if you know where you're going. If you have cupcakes you can aggro all you want - if you don't, need to time the patrols. Use spell breaker when you aggro the big group just past the rez shrine...

If life has gotten you down, try a nice tasty cupcake. The loot you get from that cest pool of a dungeon will more than make up for your indulgence in tasty Hostess treat.

If a perma isn't an option just enter the dungeon in HM from Gadd's, run/smite your way to the portal near the quest giver to get the quest for those who don't have it, and re-enter the dungeon. It'll add anywhere from 15-30 mins to your run time depending on your group's experience, but it'll save you the hassle of running through the falls.

first floor takes 4-5 minutes to do 600/smite, including killing the brigand, so if you want to run through from gadds -> quest, it should add 5mins. though then again, thats a good time and if he's asking about how to run to the dungeon, prob not too experienced of a 600 lol

If you managed to get to the first shrine that means 2 things.

1. You arrived at it avoiding all the mobs.
2. You pulled some groups with you.

If you managed to get there without any groups aggroed keep going straight and stick to the left wall, a group of 1 necro and 1 mesmer will approach that's where you put spellbreaker, Spirit bond and Prot spirit. Next hit storm chaser and run to the dungeon and spam spirit bond when necessary. Don't fear the Kraits some of them will use metamorphosis which leaves them behind.

When 600'ing I always carry a staff with +5 energy while enchanted, +5 energy staff head, 20% enchanting as my high energy set.
