Behemoths are stationary. They can only lay traps at their exact location. Yes, the traps do have wider radii, but, as Icy said, stay as far away from the Behemoths as possible when running past to avoid triggering the traps. If you watch carefully, you can see where the traps are laid, and should be able to move around them on the fly.

Also, take out [[Lava [email protected]], it's just going to scatter them. Last I heard, the Asuran skill [[Radiation Field] was a good choice for more degen. I could be wrong, tho.
You lose the benefit that GOLE gives you of extra energy from Fire Attunement if you use Radiation Field instead, not to mention it costs more energy.

Lo and behold- I tried all of your tips, and now I can successfully get to the plains and clear most of the mobs every time!

Thank you, everyone!

I use the same build as I posted before, but take out Burning Speed and anything to do with Water Magic, and replace them with Mark of Rodgort and Dash.

Stats:
12+1+3 Shadow Arts
12 Fire Magic
3 Deadly Arts (I think, might be 2)

Equipment:
Totem Axe + Flame Artifact

Zealous Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles of Enchanting (all perfect)

It works great for me. Thanks for the tips, everyone!

Well.. Lets say you're taking down one group per time. Meaning one BDR and 3+6+9 Mindblades, the most damage you'll ever take is 9x48 to 56 which isnt enough to kill you (assuming you have >504HP with a health set)

I got another idea which I will try later on, when I get on, tonsillitis
