Just cleared Chaos Planes, the Chamber, the Vale's Graspings and a bunch of terrorwebs from the UW. 1 hour 30, but I could get it to an hour ^^ Fun fun. Yay for de-nerfs!

Cleared Chaos Planes 3-4 times, went a bit in Spawning Pools, almost cleared Bone Pits... but Bone Pits takes a LOT of patience as not to aggro too many Dead Collectors. Collectors are MMs and when they die, their minions become masterless. The Threshers attack them with Suffering/FoC which also gets to you if you don't run away fast enough. It CAN be done, I gave up 3 or 4 mobs before clearing this part - not enough ectos compared to Chaos Planes.

This unnerf actually sparked up interest in heavy farming again... made some decent cash today =].

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put Glyph of Swiftness + Deadly Paradox + The newly unnerfed Shadow Form together. But seriously on topic, I just tanked the whole Deep in NM, and the only problem was the Freezing Nightmares, my guild group had a fun time when I died after they expunged me. Beyond that, a Perma-SF sin was extremely useful for pulling mobs, seperating Kanaxai from his mob, and even completely tanking tens of twenties of enemies, except in the enchantment room.

Also, I found a build to do the Chaos Planes in 27 minutes flat. Here it is:

[skill]Glyph of Swiftness[/skill][skill]Deadly Paradox[/skill][skill]Shadow Form[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Phoenix[/skill][skill]Inferno[/skill][skill]Flame Djinn's Haste[/skill]

Pretty simple really, don't spam your AoE attacks, make sure you have enough energy. It's alot faster than Sliver spam, and I haven't tried it out in HM yet, but it will probably take a bit longer, but work.

But it takes around 10-15 minutes longer. That's more time I could spend farming more ectos using a faster build for farming things that loot scaling doesn't apply to. No thanks.

Try A/E with essence then. The point is: The build should work without consumables. It was pretty much doable with consumables before the update.

I was having some major issues with the sliver build while trying to clear the chamber in UW. I'd use [Grasping Earth] followed by [sliver armor] and manage to get them down to about 3/4ths health when they start to run away. Sometimes they don't get far away fast enough but most of the time, they do. Maybe it's because I haven't bothered to get [Ebon Battle Standard of Honor] on my assassin alt.? ...Dang it, now I'm going to have to grind my way through GW:EN again. What rank do you recommend in Vanguard for this build?
