Default better aggro in UW planes farm

i am pracising this farm atm, did it 6 times by now:
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:A/E_Planes_SC
but when i aggro the mindblades it takes me a lot of time to ball them up nicely and half of the time fire storm wont hit them all

also, when i finally got them balled up and i walk to them to kill them sometimes half the group runs away.
i walk backwards to ball them and my health is low, between 50 and 70.
any tips how to ball them up better, i would like to clear planes sub30 min with this.

If you have balled them all, run backwards to him, otherwise some of them will run away...

Golden rule No.1 in that farm: Don't be afraid of charged blacknesses, you can outrun them, they lose aggro extremely fast. Only VERY bad spawns should stop you.

On-topic. While trying to ball up enemies, try getting them into corners. The thing is that if you FORCE them to get to you by the quickest means possible, you HAVE to use the environment. Turn around the edges of the big holes in the plains. Thus, the mindblades will turn too and end up balled like a wrapped up present. I for instance have never achieved a run under 40 mins, generally its worth forgetting one or two riders, such as the one next to pits and the one just next to the reaper plains, on the pits side. Why? Because if you ignore those two, you can kill the two middle ones, then go kill the other middle one, then kill the dryders + pools side (dryders drop too). Then you move killing the one at plains statue pools side and with the mindblades it spawns you go kill the one next to statue. Try it.

No shit sir. It'd be even faster to just drop SF. You wouldn't have to wait that long then.

I've done the run with this build some times too now, and some hints are there:
-The author tells you to drop sf in Chamber too. I think it's not needed, since it costs you quite some time. Try to trap the group against a wall with their left side somewhere, and they will scatter a little less. If you have a weapon that deals fire damage, you can just wand them to death thanks to Mark.

- If you're aggroing anything, always walk backward. Also, always use the corners of the map to mob the mindblades up. I notice that sometimes one or 2 still run away once I walk up to them, which means I did something wrong.

- I'm unsure on how many groups you can aggro at the same time. So far I know that you can do all groups of mindblades that spawn from the first and the right Rider, and those that spawn from the back and the left (at the pits) rider, together. You can probably do more than just 2 groups though, which I will be trying anywhere today. I remember from the old farm it was possible to simply pull all groups together. Does anyone know if the aggro radius of the Mindblades has changed?

I have had it extremely difficult to get three groups at the same time, since they all tend to stay at their own plain. What you could do is go to the pits side rider, kill him, kill first spawns, with second pair of spawns go kill first and middle rider and their spawns. That's as good as it gets for 3 groups, and even those lose aggro sometimes.

yea u could let sf drop but it starts going up again so a vamp wep just makes it easier to keep ur hp low and not wait around for sf to recharge every once in a while.

its just flat out easier to let it drop and recast. i mean the time it takes to put aggro on a wall compared to dropping SF is like what... a 10 second diff? wOOOw

I've tried now. It's possible to pull all the groups of all the Dream Riders except for the pit's side one (so 3 others) together. I tried pulling all 4, but it was too much of a hassle. I eventually did it, but it took me like 5 minutes, which is valuable time in this farm.

You can pull all 4 at the start, and do it quickly, if you know what you are doing. I'm usually finished with the first 4 groups after a little under 20mins (so this includes doing chamber and running to plains), then finish the 3 at reaper by 30mins, and the last 2 near pools for a 40min run.

grrrr stupid plants, they block the entrance Q_Q
anyway, walking backwards works a bit better, they walk away less often.
i walked backwars balling them but walking to them backwards helps.
only problem is that when i lure 9 or more most of the time 1 or 2 stay alive.
any tips on how to see that they are balled up perfectly?

If you're going clockways you can kill the left BDR's and ther 3 + 6 spawns, then take out the right (from the entrance) BDR + 3 + 6 spawns, then ball up 4x9 Mindblades. Down at the altar you should be able to pull the left, right and middle groups together killing another 3x9 Mindblades. As for the last 2, just kill everything alltogether and pull the terrorwebs down for additional kills.
My runs take 35-50 minutes, depending on how focused I am, and luck.

i take 2 essences atm, i am not so fast and i get enough ecto to pay for them.
i buy them from players, 3.5K or so.
if you want a lot of asura points go to rata sum, and leech for them.
that is the only nice leech
