Default W/R Totem Axe Farm Question

Hello,
I am trying to get a totem axe. I am not sure how to post it with the nice skill bar but the link is http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:W/R_...tem_Axe_Farmer

I am doing fine up to the point of life pods, and cannot get them to pull away from the other two, therefore they are continuously healing each other. Is the build still viable? Do I need to change the way I attack the life pods? Any help would be appreciated.

* MonkLife Pods

These creatures are nothing but an annoyance in this area. The only skill they have that causes damage to you is Holy Wrath. The best way to deal with these creatures is to draw them away from the Root Behemoths and try to kill them one at a time. It’s possible to kill them in groups of three, but it takes a while. Even when they are drawn away, they still tend to kite and heal themselves, and pods heal each other excessively. Life pods will always run along the side of a wall, making it very easy to bodyblock any runners. Remember that if you find yourself dying against them, it is because of Holy Wrath- stop attacking, heal, then try your attack combo again.

from the link you gave us

You could always add [Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support] to your bar and hope for a headshot.

to jiggles: I have tried the post suggestions, but the problem is that they don't seem to separate from each other. I have tried to pull away as the post suggests but to no avail.

i used to totem farm waay back in the day and i remember that u have to inch up to the behemoth.
basically RIGHT before aggroing the behemoth u lightly tap up.. wait... tap up... wait... tap up... wait... etc until u pop 1 or 2 life pods then back up. if done correctly u can pop them one at a time and kill them with ease. two at a time is possible and so is three at a time although one at a time is ideal.

The build is ineffective at dealing damage. Drop [[Apply Poison] and [[Riposte] for attack skills. There is no reason a warrior should not be able to defeat those puny Life Pods. What campaigns do you own?

Well, when i used to do this, i remember taking a long bow, slowly inching up until the pods pop, then i would run away and break aggro, then walk back, and pull w/ bow, you'll have better luck pulling, if you use a vamp bow(-1 health degen), and have low health at the time of pulling, like 50% would be ideal, with low health they'll tend to follow you more, thus getting them farther away from behemoths.

but, honestly, if you just want a totem, you're better off buying one for 3k, or just get the mods and add to any nice skin of your choice.

if you really want to farm them... i would level another character, other than a warrior, and do it the easy way. warriors are just toooooooo slowwwwwwwwww and very un-reliable. there is much easier/faster/better ways of doing this. i've used my rit, monk, and sin to farm totems, i know for a fact it can be done w/ ele's but never have tried. besides, with a sin/monk/rit, you give yourself a lot more options of farming spots.

oh and, i remember doing this as a W/Rt more than W/R, with VwK, resilient, and etc and it was much more effective, if i remember correctly i was killing pods and behemoths without having to separate them.

hope this helps and good luck.
