Do it at low health, and pull them out while the last 18 mindblades are surrounding you, and you get a free minute+ off the run.

Hmm yeah I never thought of it that way, might do that next time. I always run around with about 60 health anyway

I cut 5 min easily off my time doing 2 things. The vamp weapon, and pulling that last group with the terrorwebs. If you are good at dodging bodyblocks, then I would highly recommend the big pull. If you aren't, then you can get bodyblocked far enough inside the gate to get killed, as a dryder and a couple blacknesses have a patrol route that comes nearly to the gate. So be careful!

The most fun I've had on the run is forgetting to take my vamp weapon off, and managing to swap at 1 hp...gets the adrenaline going like in smite farming days.

I've cleared that area many times and have never taken more than 40 damage in a hit. That has only happened twice in countless runs. As long as you save that portion for last, the minute chance of death is worth the countless time you save in the other runs.

Am I the only one who doesn't get 5-10 Ectos per run? I barely get 2 Ectos in a run

Lowest - 0
Highest - 14
Average - 5-7

It all has to do with luck I suppose, rarely do I ever get 0, and only on occasions do I get more than 6 or 7.

Aatxes only take 1 minute to kill with <100 health / MoR+LF build.

Fixed. Getting five to seven ectos a run is exaggeration.

I've farmed about 150 ectos with this farm, my best run is 8 ectos and average is 3-4 per run, like many other people have

well i started off getting 7-11 drops per run but over time it has dropped to 3-4.
I have been using various methods to cut down on time though.

I also did a test on my ele who hasnt been to uw in over a year using a grail of might. got 3e then as well but i did get aa run complete in 24 mins.

would it be more efficient to use

+1 fire 20%
1/2 recharge 20%

or

1/2 cast 20%
1/2 recharge 20%

also are there any similar areas where i can practice this build before i throw away plats at grenth lol

lol im a noob but im not sure why i cant get 12 fire 3 deadly 12 shadow... i can only get 11 shadow and then boosts up to 15 with my +4 shadow mask
edit: o no... i dont have to go all the way to crystal desert and do that quest do i...
