For any of you using the MoR+LF build, I have a pretty down-pat method for killing the opening room Grasping Darkness + 6 Aatxes in just 2 minutes.
Enter, do SF combo once and let it expire. When it expires, do SF combo again, get quest, and gather your aggro (you better have vamp weapon to counter natural regen to stay below 100 health).

Assuming you have freshly renewed SF and are ready to fight, this is your skill combo:
Fire Attunement -> GoLE -> MoR -> LF (5 times in a row) ->
Glyph of Swiftness -> Deadly Paradox -> Shadow Form ->
GoLE -> MoR -> LF (4 times in a row)

Everything should be dead. /age for a cool 2 minutes (at least I did) and Dash away to continue your run. Might take a few seconds longer than doing just the Grasping but its a chance for extra ecto every now and then.

I don't get why you'd do fire attunement before gole. If you do gole before fire attunement, then use mark of rodgort, your energy management works alot better.

It does not matter at all.

Just make sure you cast fire att before you cast another spell.

Glyph>fire att>rodgort>lava front= 20 energy used, 10 back
fire att>glyph>rodgort<lava front=20 energy used, 10 back

Just when you use your glyph earlier, it also recharges earlier^^

I go straight in with GoLe -> MoR _> inferno, If I cast MoR (lasts 30 seconds) right after GoLe (30 second recharge) I know when to re-cast MoR.

Great guide, finally got my my sin ascended, and got 7ectos+ruby+a gold on my 1st run

Guess I hae less luck thn the others. For the 5 succesful runs I've completed, max amount of ectos is 3/run. The 5th run was even ectoless. :O Nice job anyways.

Kickass place & build
Got 18 ectos today, 4 runs

Got lucky and managed to aggro 4 groups of 9 Mindblades

umm sorry if this was already asked im not looking through 16 pages
what happens if the 3 obsidian bohemths spawn so their covering the door completey like right after u kill all the graspings in the beginning area.

If it's only 3, I think there should be a hole you could dash through. I have seen a few times 4 spawn at the location you speak of, all in a straight line. If that's the case, then I just go right ahead and resign because as far as I know, there isn't a way to get past them like that!

k thanks. i was thinking about putting in deaths charge in for GOLE so i might be able to get around them either by using it on the obsidians or the charging. theres problems with both, i know. if i use it on the obsidians i might shadow step on the side im already on and even if i do shadow step on the side iw want to be on i still am in trouble cuz of possible traps. with the charging guys they might just kill me with shock when i shadow step to them. maybe heart of shadow might work.
so i have 2 more questions now.
1. is GOLE necessary?
2. would heart of shadow actually work or could a skill be used instead of that or GOLE in case things like the wall of obsidians happen.

GoLe helps out your energy by a lot, but if you take it out you wont be able to freely spam spells as easily. I'm sure it could work. I run no radiant insignias but I use gole so its more important for me. I have been able to be completely blocked, trigger traps try to fit through w/o dying. Heart of shadow most likely wouldnt help as it is completely random so you could actually shadow step into traps. Deaths charge might work if there is one behind the other obsidians.

1) Yes
2) Like I said, having it completely blocked off by four, not three obsidians is very rare. If it's 3, try to look for an opening and run through it using [dash] right before you get close to the obsidian. Whatever you do, do not aggro the Charged Blacknessess! They will ruin your run 8/10 times if you do aggro them.

I don't dig the early recharge as I use it as an indicator for when I have to reapply MoR. GoLE recharges in 30 seconds, MoR lasts 30 seconds. Perfect!

Actually, except attaxes you should never have to apply MoR more than once. And at any rate you should have an attaxe selected, thus knowing when you need MoR back on again.

How is grouping 4 lucky? I ALWAYS group four at the start, 3 at the Monument and 2 at the end. Bring a Longbow and you should be able to pull 4 everytime. The grouping can sometimes be a pain. When you pull 4 at the start, 3 at the Monument and 2 at the end you should be averaging 20> minute runs.

If you look at my first post, and the aggro map, i recommend you group the 4 groups, then 3 then 2. It takes more time to set up aggro but overall is far faster.
