When this happens i aggro them and pull them back then activate dark escape and run in the gap avoiding a shock. This should work fine for you with no problems. If they happen to keep following you out they will eventually stop but not run back, they will stand still. If you need them to move just aggro them and run towards where you want them to be then dark escape away once again.

When they scatter (because they will) just run away and run around in a fashion that will bunch them back together and get right back to work.

Yes that's correct, you have to follow them immediately when they start going up the mountain.

Yeah I'm using a major, I was going to buy a superior from a guildie but tbh I prefer to have a bit more health incase i get caught by a trap or a charged blackness.
Yeah i found a way to deal with the camping blazing by the entrance to the choas plains, I just aggro them then run around the little loop that is right there, then just dash into the plains.

I use [Phoenix] + [Inferno] and BDR's don't run. just wait 3-4 seconds between damaging them. They run only when they take too much dps. 25 min runs here with no problems

Yeah I randomly tried out Lava Font + Inferno but the graspings owned my ass with "Fear Me!" so I won't be doing that again ^^.

Feast of Corruption can actually kill you in there, though It's unlikely to happen if you're at full health, but if you've been careless and aren't at full health, it can happen. Also, it's annoying to chase after the damn Threshers.

Is it worth clearing the bone pits? Ecto/money wise?

I only completely cleared it once, and I got two ectos and one gold item. They DO drop ecto, so it's worth killing them, if you feel like it. In a normal run, I just kill the first four that are at the entrance, and I didn't have any ecto drops there yet.

So I did 2 full runs, and got 2 ecto. 0 on the first, 2 on the second. Then I got 3 spawns in a row where I couldn't even get PAST the Behemoths, let alone past their traps, because they had completely bodyblocked the path. Needless to say I am f*cking mad.

Fenix: yah thats something that you just need to deal with. it will happen from time to time but its only a couple mins into the run so its not a huge deal. If you are worried about the 1k loss then dont sweat it. once you get to the plains its smooth sailing with normally 4+ecto a run so even if you lose a 1k here its there dont sweat it.

Leprachan: You can run the lava/inferno just at the graspings you need to be VERY cautious. When you have the group together use the lava/inferno once and then wait it out. recast the SF then just use lava. it takes a extra 30 secs to clear this area but you just need to play it safe. 2x lava per SF casting and you will be fine. Honestly though going with MOR is safer and pretty much clears the area in the same time

Yeah my first few runs, I think I got a total of 5 ectos, a black and white dye. It's just a question of luck. Sometimes, this can happen too:

Got a total of 12 ectos that run. Including the Aatxe at the start and the first 2 groups of terrorwebs in the spawning pools.

Frustration aplenty as my friggin wireless crappy network keeps rubberbanding me all over. So I'm standing there, waiting in front of the behemoths, ready to charge through as soon as the blacknesses are gone, and 1 second later I'm suddenly smack in the middle of behemoths, traps going off all around me, aatxes behind me, blacknesses in front of me...
5 failed runs. 5k lost. 1k gained with some drops from graspings. a lot of frustration.

yes. rubberbanding. A true joy. now, excuse me as I go get my scissors and do some damage to this stack of rubberbands on my desk.

I get very few problems with rubberband. And I know exactly when rubberbanding has occured. Its just a case of knowing how it comes about and how to avoid it, like ranger bows with the z axis
