I realize farming Talus is definitely not the most profitable, but until recently all I had was prophecies, so I made do between Talus and 55/SS UW. Usually every time I go out I get at least 1 chest, which always gives me a max gold something. Other than that, I usually get ~1+ plat in dropped gold and ~1+ plat in other drops, sold to merch. Build works perfectly on small groups of Avicara (6 max, except for the necro avicara - they use well of profane), as well as Tundra Giants and obviously Trolls.

8 inspiration, 11 healing, 15 smiting, 8 protection, 8 divine favor.

Basically, everything you aggro works the same. Keep Mantra up constantly if possible, and any time you're aggroed, you obviously need to keep protective spirit. Once you've got an inflow of energy (you're being hit a lot), cast Arcane Echo, then SoJ, and keep PS and HB going. Right before SoJ expires, cast it again with Arcane. Everything (Trolls, Avicara, and Giants) die about half way through the second SoJ, meaning it takes about 35-40 seconds to kill a group.

I always try to aggro the biggest group possible, since SoJ causes knockdown and I have +10 energy regen. If you aggro a small group though, you can let Mantra go as long as you time your spells around the knockdowns, and anything less than 3 and I don't recast HB either. This helps me keep my energy at a safe level.

Giants can be a little tricky with the knockdowns, but again it's about timing. I just spam PS/HB when I know they're knocking me down, and then when I know I'm safe I do Arcane/SoJ.

I also use this method to powerlevel people and charge a bit of a premium since I don't need to run back to droks as often as most and I can kill a bit faster.'

Have you ascended and got both the +15 attribute quests ?
I 55 at times but i use slightly diff build as i have all campaigns but ive never wanted to farm talus chute.
Buildwise id suggest a few skill changes - offhand i cant recall if they are core skills so not sure if you can get them - im gonna try later when home and see if i can come up with changes for you - not 100% how effective as like i said i dont farm there but its easy for you to try as you`ve tried before there

Ever tried Diviner's Ascent outside of Elona Reach in the desert?
The sand drakes and devourers are fairly easy to kill.
Averages 1-3 chests and about 2-5 Plat per run.
60 kills, there's an Elementalist and a warrior drake boss.

No, good call. I used to do mino's and drakes outside aug but I hate the trappers. I'll give it a try, thanks.

Could you possibly post a map of your run for diviner's ascent? I recall trying to farm there a few times but don't remember any bosses there.

Yellow Dots are the boss spawns.
They don't always spawn, and occasionally switch spots.
But usually the ele is the first one and the warrior is the second.
There's a Hydra patrol that starts when you get to the second boss location, try to avoid them. :] There's occasionally a mean, mean necro boss in it.

Awesome suggestion. Took me a bit to get the hang of it but it's turning out to be pretty good. A bit longer, but it's a nice change and some good drops. Thanks =D
