If I remember, The drop rate of rare items and gemstones in The Ebony Citadel of Mallyx was insane.
Does it actually have a higher drop rate of rarer items? If so, is it worth farming for gems? Furthermore, WHAT can you do to farm it?

It's not insane for drop rates just all the gems drop there. It's faster and you get more gems just doing quad runs.

Im not sure if the drops are higher, but it does drop all four types of gems which means a single build or team build would be very effective.

I don't think I would call the drop rate insane. I would call it about the same as everywhere else. Just my opinion from what I've seen.

As for farming I would say yes it is worth it. People are still buying armbraces to get weapons for their halls, and you need gems for that.

What you can do to farm it is join a guild and go on DOA runs. If you want to solo farm then you need to go on PVX and find a build that will work for your profession.

I have went on PvX. However, I could not find any solo/hero teams that could pull off such a task.
I tried looking at 600 but the big problem is you must protect the person.

The solo builds are very specific for this area. It all depends on your profession and most farms require more than a single person. There are also videos on youtube that can show you some various farms.

Please be advised that you can't ask for builds in the campfire section. You haven't even told us what profession you are so it makes it hard to assist. Just letting you know that you may be in for a thread lock soon.

I can play any profession but necromancer, ritualist, and elementalist.
Also, we're not able to ask for builds in a section about farming? Is there a rule I'm not aware of?

3. Asking for Builds

Please refrain from posting simply asking for other users to post builds for you. We cannot keep posting builds until we find one to your liking. Please post your own build so that we have an idea of what you're trying to achieve and help you improve it. Moreover, many specimen builds can be found in the stickied profession guides at the top of each profession sub-forum, if you really need that much help in starting a build. Many builds can also be found via searching.
