o yeha sry lol....the farm spot is outside of gate of desolation....there are 2 groups of undead and a boss u can kill in 5 miniutes for around 500 SS points...in wurms of course

Only problem with that is, you have to take your sin to the end of NF.

My sin is just for farming, as are a few others I imagine.

I'm about 20 something runs in and I always misjudge the arcane echo SF, so I end up dying somehow.

Other than that, I've gotten about 1 ecto in the last 20 failures, from a bladed aatxe

I use this build in NM, especially after the SF buff it is extremely easy to play it and it gives me too much time to correct any mistakes I make.
I even managed to do the run to "Ectoland" (Chaos Planes) after a few tries and failures.
In HM i can't just find the "choke points" just yet but it is still doable but slower.
I usually get 2-3 globs from the first rooms, and I got a total of 9 Ectos when I got to do the Chaos Planes too.
And I don't try to "Run" the place. I take my time and eventually it pays up.

Yeah I forget about the echoed SF alot, and die about 80% of the time due to it. Theres a few second pause after you miss it as you confirm that your screwed, plus you cant get mad because you know it was just your fck up.

But to the author, regarding your drops image, you might have been epicly lucky since I've been farming for 1 1/2 weeks now and the maximum I got farming the 1st and 2nd chamber and the chaos planes was 6 ectos, what is still extraordinary! Lots of lockpicks, tomes and golds, too...(got about 180k in this time, average of one run a day)
I always tried to pull the 4 popping mobs and to let them die by the EN degen..btw idk how Viper's Defense sneaked into some variations of this build but it's fkn contraproductive :P
BTW I use Channeling instead of FN

But one question: I pulled some undead from the pits to the corrdior shown in one of your images (the narrow one just behind the first chained souls)..But they can scatter and so I can't farm the pits..(wells)..

Hey guys, question:
Is there any way to compensate being crippled when you're already in the middle of the mountains? Cos sometimes I just can't avoid the behemoths (not the first ones, but those, when you zig-zag run up the hill, rush through that kind of pass, and go left. there the charged blacknesses come through this way <-- , run a bit farther, turn and go -->, sometimes there are like 4 behemoths, i cant avoid the barbed trap and the charged kill me...had this the last 3 runs lol

Have anyone tried this lately, really tried, not just a couple of times but several successful runs with a Me/A? I'm wondering if i should try with my mesmer because the pain of making an assassin which probably will bore me to death. Though I'm not sure if SF will stay up long enough with only 12 as max skill. I saw someone posting a pic earlier, looks little tight on hp though.

Any ideas or tips to make this work with a Me primary will be greatly appreciated.

I actually find it easier with my mes than with my assassin. I wear a sup fast cast headpiece, so I'm running around with 9 fast casting. When I jump on my assassin I find casting time to be so slow! I've not had a problem with shadow form duration, I've got seconds leeway so I've survived many "ohshi" moments.

edit: Btw Daenara, you reckon Radiation Field will work instead of Ether Nightmare? Without a guild and no transfered faction I believe Ether N is out of the option for me.

Unwanted Guests does NOT spawn a chest, so its probably not worth doing.

I just finished getting all the skills/titles needed for this build, but the only things I can seem to kill are the Graspings. I simply don't do enough damage to the aatxes... Any suggestions?

How do you get 10 ectos?

1st and 2nd room of the Chamber, Chaos Planes and the terorwebs on the way to the spawning pools -> 5 Ectos maximum!

BTW can you tell me where or how to pull the mobs in the pits? I tried narrow corridors but it doenst work!

I have trouble with the run to Chaos Planes. Because I am new to the run, i have doing it very slow. When I reach the top of Twin Serpent Mountains, there are Charged Blacknesses just outside the entrance. They are not patrolling, just standing there next to the Obsidian Behemoths. Do they get there because of the slow run?
The main reason for my slow run is that i have trouble with traps. Sometimes there are only a narrow passage between two Obsidian Behemoths that you can run through and that passage is blocked with traps. I have tried with Dash but that killed me instantly. Now I try to tigger them and return to heal with Feigned Neutrality. If i make the run faster, will less traps appear?
Are there better ways to get past traps?

Yes, the charged blacknesses are there because you're too slow.
You just have to make sure you get through the behemoths without touching them. Feigned Neutrality will help with the healing if you get hit by the traps.

Other than that, I read somewhere that if you lure the charged blacknesses towards you then use dash you wont get knocked down by shock
