Teotuf,

I can not even begin to fathom how you were able to kill of that whole first room in about 4-6 minutes(showing by your /age). My ranks are 8 and 5, and I can't even understand how you do this. I do not understand what method you are using for choke pointing, but it's not working for me nor anyone else that has replied here. Aggro breaking is constant, and it seems this is just a hobbyist build for echo shadow formers, but no practical/efficient applications.

Can you please shed some light on how you are doing this exceedingly fast (up to 400-500% faster than everybody else) and how you are keeping aggro.

^ Nope, you need 16 and 20% enchant to keep [Shadowform] up long enough for the infinate cycle.

Besides, buying a +3 Shadow Arts rune is fairly cheap. If you're having trouble with that, maybe get a +1 shadow arts mask with the rune.

Also, If anyone can make a video of the run, that would be great. I'm still unsure how [Ether Nightmare] and [Cry of Pain] can take down a group of aatxes in hardmode with luxon/kurzick rank 1 and 7-8 sunspear. I tried this on HM raptors to learn the cycle, but doesn't seem to do enough damage to kill them quickly, at least somewhat relative to the time in your screens.

it's doable if you have 0ms ping... and really really attentive... but realistically, no.

the longest i went with 15 shadow arts is about 4 min.

Doing this in NM is pretty easy however in HM i cant seem to find these "chocking" points you are talking about in the first chamber etc.....they seem to scatter after some time, when there health is about midway down. A screenshot to have some idea would be handy though. Either way, great work on the build. I like it so far, breaks the normality of monk or war farming in UW etc....

I've spent about 30k working this build to my benefit and I'm just beginning to get it down. I had to switch out two skills for two of my own and change around the attributes. I dropped dark escape / feigned neutrality for channeling and clumsiness, and dropped inspiration to 9 and raised illusion to 9. Also my PvE titles are 1 Luxon 6 Sunspear so for those of you with low PvE titles you could switch out for channeling and clumsiness ( channeling might be a bit excessive as far as E management goes but when you only get 2E per attack with SoF ). With this i can clear up out the aataxes in the first 3 rooms (after that I've usually messed up my SF cycle and led to insta death). I'm considering dropping SoF soon for Feigned Neutrality to do the run through to Chaos Fields. As for the choke points the one in the starting room is just behind the quest NPC. If you looks at the first picture of Teotuf's guide just North and West of the NPC there are two light poles, one in each direction. I suggest getting the aataxes and graspings in a big group then running around the quest NPC. I will try to verbalize as best i can without getting on and taking a picture. If you are facing the Quest NPC with the group of mobs on your back, you will want to head to his left and around the light pole (give the aataxes room to manaveur around the light pole)then run parallel along the back of the wall till you are in line with the next light pole (one to the right of the quest NPC). If you move past the point where the light pole is covering you up the group of 2 aataxes that are on the right when you begin will run away. So try to line up exactly with the light pole. If you do it perfectly, the aataxes wont be able to run nor will the graspings, i can kill them all in about 4 minutes with the build I wrote just above (but this is the perfect scenario usually i get surrounded by graspings when I am gathering them all and have to scatter them and regroup) After that go to the Labrynth and aggro everything there then go back and reaggro the two aataxes that forgot about you at the top of the stairs in the beginning area (the ones that you cant get in your first pull). Then gather them all up and get them in a corner in the original room (there are two that work it is difficult to describe them both see the 6th picture on Teotuf's guide to get the jist of which to use)

i'll always go back to my old theory: build does not matter nearly as much as usage, i've always believed that after i've seen a monk in RA do a far better job than me using only orison, dwana's kiss, and reversal of fortune

anyways, goign to post soem videos of the first room or something sometime tonight or tomorrow, seeing that there is a lot of confusion about what to do

*update* videos are posted

tried this build yesterday, and i just LOVE IT

cleared first three groups of aatxes & graspings in 3 minutes. posted pic when i finally reached chaos planes first time(5-7 tries). i think this build was pretty easy to use, just switched feigned neutrality to light of deldrimor(r3) to speed up killing.

thx for the build, you're the BEST!

Wow, that took longer than i thought. Anyway, gj on the video, i can see this is one big endurance test in execution, at least till you can do it in your sleep.

Anyway, is this build, or any varient of this build capable of doing smites? I think maybe [Radiation Field] might not be a bad choice because of the added disease.

yes it's one big endurance test =P about 1 min per aggro w/o regen, and 3-4 min per group of aatxes. feigned neutrality can be replaced with something else if you are confident about not running into traps to speed up the killing.

Labyrinth, each aggro with aatxe takes 3-4 min to kill. I do a total of 3 pulls, one in each room, for a total of 15-20 min.

Chaos Planes, each aggro takes 1 min to kill. 4 aggros for every pull of riders in planes, and I do 4 pulls to clear planes, it takes about 35 min to clear planes.

Bone Pits, each aggro takes 1 min to kill, I do 12-15 aggros to clear it, takes about 25-30 min.

The inconsistancies between the sum of the killing time and the clear time is because pulling actually takes a significant amount of time... which reminds me... epic pull in spawning pool!! Pulling a billion terrorwebs with a 50% speed reduction is just purely amazing.
