why?...so far I rarely have trouble with energy. When I do I just use DE to get out of the situation. Low energy just means I have to try again.

I need the vampiric daggers to kill the dream riders though...as the sundering daggers aren't enough...SoH ends before I can get in the final combo skill to finish them off. The sundering daggers allow me to kill the terrors most of the time.

Finally got past the first two worms...used the bridge trick. They were a bit troublesome though since they spawned right next to each other and I had to work to separate them.

Friggen impressive, just friggen impressive. I'm giving up pvp just for this build, until I can find another 10 $ thats is because screw pvp slot for now, I WANT A SIN. You inspire me to find out new stuff for the assassin.

Your hard work payed off. Have fun using it and pray Areanet doesnt throw this out of proportion and nerf it. Seriously Anet, people can solo the UW and FoW with ease, AND THOS ARE COOKIE CUTTER BUILDS. This build probably takes weeks to master and even after that its hard. Let this one go, its 1 build for tombs, I think the players deserve it.

Crazy respect man.

Try reading the second page. Not exactly the best laid out guide...but the instructions for the areas it covers were done pretty well.

oh yeah...I'm working my way through level 3 right now...and producing a map of it which I will post in here once I complete it. Cleared the central square then found out the hard way about the worms there...long range + SF not activated yet = instant death. Fortunately I have Dunkoro with me (for resing and quick health recovery after the SF drain). Been working on this run now since early Sunday morning...took several breaks though, including one for the Super Bowl.

Ok here's the map I created for The Courtyard.

It should have all the mobs on it. If I missed some let me know and I'll edit it.

Still haven't finished Level 3 yet...got it about half cleared out (including the central square around the altar, but no worms yet)...but I need to get to bed. Hoping I stay connected so I don't have to go through all that again...this is gonna be the longest tombs run ever...sitting at somewhere over 15 hours on this run now.

Ok...just took out my first worm on level 3...and I don't see how this build can be used solo to take out the worms...seriously...I tried several times without the help of Dunkoro (other than healing after SoH ended and I teleported back) and I could not do enough damage to be able to take out the worm. Their regen is simply too fast...even if my final hit before teleporting with SoH is B.S.S. (Poison).

I was only able to take the worm out by staying at the worm taking damage and allowing Dunkoro to heal me (and apply protective spirit). That's the only way I was able to take him out.

Is soloing the worms on Level 3 even possible with the change to SoH?

Ok Made it to the Hall of Heroes. I cleared the first room except for the Wurms, who killed Dunkoro. Since I need him to kill the Wurms (can't find any other way) my run was pretty much over so I attempted to make it to the Darknesses but ran out of SF before I found a safe place. I created a map though the middle and the right side may have some popups I didn't find.

Hope my maps help some people.

edit: After finally completing the Hall of Heroes I updated the above map with grasp popups that I remember. The maps I created should be complete.

the change make SOH even with 16 shadow art it don't last more than 45 second, which mean you won't be using the full length of teh two SF. as result it become so hard to kill foe with higher HP or in sneaky position.

actually 4 posts in a row...and No...conscious decision...each post was made a few hours apart...and each had a separate topic. When I needed to add stuff about a particular topic I edited the post it belonged in. Considering the content of two of the posts...I figured it was acceptable since simply editing a post would not flag the thread as having new content.

@Thunder

You can use sundering daggers/vamp daggers
I usually only do one dream rider at a time. And i can solo 2 terrors easy with zealous. Zealous is only there so i can have a constant flow of energy if im low. This means.. less retrys
and.. worms are a toughy in the courtyard. I usually need to duo them with a friend or like you said have dunkoro riding your butt.

I only do one dream rider at a time too....because I can only seem to just barely be able to kill one in a single attempt. Sometimes I can't quite get in that last attack and they are left with a sliver of health. Terrors usually take longer than half the time so I stop at one. For me I can't seem to kill more than one enemy at a time and the tougher enemies I can barely kill in the amount of time available...so it works better if I use vampiric on those guys. I prefer sundering for most though so I don't have to worry about switching weapons to avoid health loss.

yeah the worms are tough even with the help of Dunkoro...I've found I can't use the vampiric daggers against them as it causes me to die just due to that small amount of health drain. When I don't use them (use sundering instead) I don't die as dunkoro can keep me healed. The only reason why Dunkoro got killed in HoH was because I accidently activated SoH when going to fight the worms...when I teleported back dunkoro ran back to me...and got hit several times on the way back...and of course...he didn't stop to heal himself even though he needed it. Had I not activated SoH I probably would have been able to continue on.

Remember that you must you Recall now instead of Shadow of Haste + Dark Escape.

This build still works very well and now i can solo 2 dream riders at once because I use Recall (giving me an extra skill slot) and I add Blade of Steel.

Does this still work, since the original post was made a few months ago?

Nice idea with blades of steel. My problem atm is that I can only manage to take out 1 monster before Shadow Form ends, giving me a total of 2 monsters per recall trip. Is this normal or..? :/

Also, does anyone have any tips on taking down the wurms or did I miss that part of the "guide"? I can't manage to take down more than about 1/20 of their hp before the two shadow forms run out.

Cheers.

malevolence: yes, a rez monk. Even before the SOH nerf, I was parking a rez monk at the start, in case I hit a wrong button or got glassy-eyed at the repetition. They'll split gold, but all the drops are yours when he's grayed.

machinae: 2 monsters is normal, except dream riders, which are 1. As for the wurms, you could pull the mobile ones to bridges where they glitch and don't attack. For the stationary ones, it just takes a bunch of back and forthing, or you could have a second assassin, staggering runs so that the wurm is always being hit.
