Default A/Me Solo tombs = awesome

Okay so I love the A/me tombs build, (OwVTMY/8ZiHZJQnxEAGozzG0tEA) I've gotten my technique for the first level down just right and I can do it in roughly four minutes. But I keep hearing that you can mob ALL the enemies on that first level into one great ball... and I'm just wondering, how the hell is that possible? I cant think of any practical, easy way to do this. Could anyone more experienced shed some light, pwease?

Also, I believe it is possible to solo the entire tombs, it just takes a long time because of chaos wurms. So can anyone think of a variant to the build that would make this more practical? I'm thinking of switching out Cry of pain for something since ether nightmare and raditation field provide more than enough damage on their own.

Cheers guys.

hmm well what i like to do is this:

15 dagger mastery(12+3)
3 deadly arts
16 shadow arts(12+1+3)

glyph of swiftness
deadly paradox
shadow form
way of the lotus
golden lotus strike
lotus strike
death blossom
earbite

what you do is 1-2-3-4 to maintain sf and get Way of the lotus up attack with 5-6-7 this also maxes out your energy and you use earbite when charged for bleeding and added damage even if target is imune to bleeding still use it.

same thing with every floor and enemy.

it takes ages to do whole thing i prefer to do it in hm and even in hm you can tank like 20-25 grasps without them killing you. yes with this build i have agroed the entire first room though i dont see the point unless you need lots of enemys attacking you for your build to be effective.

this is especially fun when youve got a group of 8 sins each with this build you just breeze through the topk

Cool, thanks for the post. Have you ever tried the build I just posted? I tend to find that your version is far far slower than the other, but yeah i see how effective it would be in an 8 man team (though drops ar elikely to suffer)

yes i do use this build personaly i find it better to go in on hm and only kill stuff on floor 1 that drops ectos i tend to use perma sliver for that but with perma sliver i can never complete topk but its easy with this build and if your wanting to do it in hm full anyway its better atleast in my opinion to do as a full party.

I use a build with Armor-ignoring damage to kill the ecto dropping stuff. It's Ether Nightmare, Cry of Pain, Wandering Eye, Clumsiness. I do ball them all up, and here's the way I do it. When you zone in, cast your DP/AE/SF and then go under the bride to the right, aggroing the dreamriders and terrorwebs on the right, as well as the stuff on the left. When you're under the bride, also grab the 3 terrorwebs that walk in and out of the farthest room. Then walk up to the bridge you just walked over and continue all the way to the farthest right on the bridge. The Dreamriders should be bunched up, but not the terrorwebs because they have a shorter range. Then you just run back to the left until the terrorwebs are bunched with the dreamriders.

Sorry if that's really confusing, you can PM in game and I'll be be glad to show you what I do.

I currently use that A/Me build but I just clear the first room in about 4 mins. You can ball up everything if you want but I go under the bridge to the right then aggro everything and go back on top of the bridge to ball up the group on the bridge so the dream riders can't run away, I'll post a screen or something later on.

aggro dream riders up top, pull em across bridges and around corner to bottom. must be HM to retain aggro of course. gettin em all balled requires a lot of pulling around for the casters.

Well, you get 9 chances of an ecto in one run of the first level, which takes me ~2 minutes

So, correct me if I am mistaken, but it seems no one has a sure way of rounding up all the enemies in the first floor. I dont mean just the ones who drop the ectos, but everything - so you can complete the entire floor in 2-3mins.

Also, thanks for confirming that the entire thing can be soloed with an assassin. I will have to try sometime soon.

Would u guys say that clearing the first room in 4min is profitable? How many ectos drop in such runs?

Hmmm how long does it take on average for the A/Me and the A/E build to complete the entire thing?

I can only do the first room in 3 balls. The stuff on top of the stairs doesn't pull far enough for you to ball them up with the rest of the casters. Plus Banished Dream Riders and Scythes of Chaos have different range than Terrorweb Dryders, and I'm not aware of any AoE spell that can hit them both.

A/E takes substantially longer, rouglhy fifteen minute runs with dagger-offense builds. A/Me can easily complete it in four minutes. And can kill all the ecto dropping foes in two mins. Dualing you can have one sin on each mob for a two minute clear of the first floor, and with the right co-ordination have the second floor (which has many, many, many more enemies that drop ectos) done in roughly 8 minutes (though this is a prediction of mine).

deadly paradox - arcane echo - shadow form

just as the cooldown graphic on arcane echo (which is now temporarily shadow form #2) reaches the lower left-hand corner of the skill icon, use it

when arcane echo cools down completely, repeat the above steps

keep spirit of failure and channeling up as much as possible and energy management should be a cinch.
