Not very relevant about farming, but for sins, you really have to practice permaform and get the timing down because 1 mis-step with SF and you lose your health and you find yourself eating dirt. And if you're in a uwsc or fowsc or even vsf group and you fail b/c of mis-timing w/ SF, group rage will normally come down on you.

well im trying to buy monk tomes so i can learn the skills; 2 hours no luck :P

okay does anyone have any monk tomes or a good 600 weapon or weapon set for sale?

wanted to save myself some money; 600 gold vs 1 plat; im not exactly made of money here....

Anyhow i bought everything but looking at it i have one question. I was told that more health = better; so wouldnt running a +45 health while enchanted be better than the +30 it calls for from that pvxwiki site?

those 400 gold would be made back if you farmed in those two hours instead of trading. Just a tip if you actually want to make money.

Yes, 45 would be better, but as long as you have skills, you should not worry about equipment but rather actually farm.

It seems like you're making the learning curve steeper than it has to be...

For just one day try being a noob who copies a build off of PvX, gets the closest thing he can to the suggested equipment, and try the farm with reckless abandon. 90% of the time, the farm you choose will pay for whatever money you spent on it in the first 2 hours of doing it, even if you don't complete a whole run.

i didnt know it would be that impossible to find a couple of monk tomes + i needed the weapons anyway so it wasn't like i could farm even if i just bought the skills.

I started with a 55-Necro.
Played with that for a while in a few places.
[Anvil Rock on Minotaurs, Diviner's Ascent on Sand Drakes and Devourers, Boreas Seabed on the Halcyon Job.]
Then found a permaform and played with Rekoff for a while.
I've now moved on to 600/Smiting dungeons and UW with my roomate and Permaform boss runs with my assassin when he's unavailable.

practice makes profit, dont give up after only a few tries, try watching youtube videos of UW runs and pay attention to how they deal with the the dying nightmares, try paying to attention to how the mobs patrol the area and where the nightmares usually spawn from.
