Default Help with pits run

In UWSC, how do you get to the pits w/o getting killed by traps or charged? Like sometimes, I have to go over a trap to get past the small doorway (Ill show a pic if you want) adn those kill me. Or, a charged blackness can easily kill me. How do you get past those?

By the looks of it, your lagging behing the group, and carry a lightning shield, it takes off around 20 damage from shock. If your first traps don't affect you since they haven't been laid down. If you have problem with that then you need to practice more. Also just for the sake of this cuz I know people will bring this up, but it's not the pools or plains or mtns job to block for pits.

I apologize how crappy this map is and I've no time to make a video



Red is path you take after blackness at base have moved

Purple is where you death charge to a obsidian behemoth, and move fast to avoid Cripple (Wear Cripple shield here)

Blue is the only blackness spawn that should bother you and the line next to it is their route, North (Where your time to DC is) Then they go south blocking the Chaos Plains Entrance

The easiest way is to either be the first perma through the behemoths, and stay as close as you can to the running charged as possible, or death's charge to that first group fo behemoths. Death's charge up the hill to the behemoths where the next charged patrol is as well.

Incorrect. It IS their job to ensure pits gets through.

Another Pits question. Once you are at the pools and have killed all the Dead Collectors and Dead Threshers. Do you have to worry about the Chained Souls either killing the reaper or killing the imprisoned spirits?

the chained souls are weak and use skills that basically make them suicide so the collectors can use them for minions. they repawn really fast after you kill them so dont waste your time killing them.

Chained souls are harmless and will not kill the imprisoned spirits. As the above poster said, don't waste your time.

No it is not, where does it say that pools and plains is obligated to block for pits? Nowhere, the only reason that has become a norn for alot of pugs is because most pug pits cannot run through mtns without "I Am Unstoppable." Most people panic when it comes to Charging Blackness when in reality they are little thread on the way since an average perma in UW should have atleast 400 health with cons, with a lightning shield the damage is roughtly 93 damage, the best way to do this is to wait till deadly paradox is active then death charge to something, preferably a behemoth that hasn't laid down traps, in order to get the faster recharge. Also if you have a problem with cripple buy a cripple shield and use a Rune of Restoration. Idealy the entire pools, plains, and pits group should be balled tightly when they move through mountains. Furthermore a good plains should not be bringing IAU because it becomes a dead skill once in plains, and for those who say that IAU is needed for mtns and pools they are wrong, IAU is essentially not needed for UW it's more of a liability rather than anything as your running through the areas. Watch your aggro, watch the charging blackness spawns and you should be fine. And for pits running through mtns, if you come to that turn and most of the group has gone by, just wait for the charging blackness to patrol back so you don't have to deal with both the behemoths and thier traps and shock.
