I just tested that build this afternoon, and I can't seem to be able to kill them under the 25 sec shadow form (16 shadow arts, 20% enchant mod), even having 5 nukes won't do it >_>, they flee too fast

Is there any way that a Mo/E could do this?

i farm that area with my wammo, if you hug the right wall next to portal, the minos will group up tightly and none will run away if done correctly.

Guess who has a new title....thats right this guy
It took me about 8 hours to get to level 20, coz i really didn't have the intention of getting legendary survivor, but after a while i went for it so from r1 to r3 it took me around 10 hours using rampage scrolls (Poor person )

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but could anyone recommend an alternative to Bed of Coals to someone without Factions?

Maby it can work on a Me/E to
Change Balthazar spirit -> Channeling [think it will give you some energy back for each foe in the area]

Think ill try tomorrow to see if it works. not sure if you can pull out enough damage this way.

Well not sure what went wrong last night, but went out to try these guys since I was doing Kilroy Tournament before. Anyway, I got to the first group really close then died, I ran out of energy and couldn't get Stoneflesh back up Oh well, he was only at 300k exp, I may remake him, idk yet. I probably will, but it stinks he had max armor, with runes and all that. Also, gona need to buy another elite tome :P

But other than that great guide, thanks for sharing

This is indeed an easy farm, but if you figure one Rampage Scroll will do you in Kilroy's Tourney, and you walk away with 40k xp in 10 minutes or so, or ten rampage scrolls in ten minutes for this run which gives you about 45k xp.

So a difference of 5k xp for 9 Rampage Scrolls. While it might be more satisfying to see the minos drop into burning husks, the Punch Out thing works for any class, is cheaper and safer. And you also get more and better drops I've noticed in the Tourney.

With the release of EotN and the added HM to EotN, I'd go with LB scrolls or Berserker Scrolls in Dwarven Boxing. Safer, faster, and gives a small boost to Delver track.

ok, i've never had a proph born char so forgive my noobishness, but the op said in his 'notes' section...hopefully don't die in a arena battle...what did he mean? So far I've gotten level 2, changed prof to e/me, did the little mission in pre-searing, then got a run from old ascalon to lion's arch....what now? (in order to follow quickest way to eotn/mino area?

I've been trying this out with my E/Mo and looking at variants for damage since I rarely get them to all go down in one run through the skills.

If I try to use a Sliver Armor variant, I find that this will cause scatter AND I get knocked down when recasting Stoneflesh (yikes! came close to death a couple times). Not sure why I'm getting knocked down, as the Minotaur will only cause knockdown if you are moving, or you block. This has happened three times in a row tonight and that was enough for me to stop playing with the build. I've never been knocked down using the OP's skillset despite being hit with 10x Irresistable blow.

EDIT: I'm stupid. Sliver Armor gives chance to block.

Variant to try tomorrow: crystal wave/teinai's crystals using glyph of renewal and arcane echo. (5x 120 armor-ignoring AOE dmg in under 20 seconds should be enough to kill them ... hopefully the weird knockdown problem doesn't happen)

Not sure you'll come back to a month old post, but I'm avoiding working, so here goes.

Right before that little mission with Prince Rurik there is usually a 4 vs. 4 PVP battle against other players. If you get killed during that fight, you lose anymore progression in your Survivor title.

If no one else enters when you do though, there is no fight and you go straight to the mission. As you are now in Lion's Arch, you no longer need to worry about this.

If you want to do what the OP is talking about, then you need a run to Sanctum Cay. Just stand in Lion's Arch for a little while during a decently busy time of the day/night and you should see a run advertised shortly. Then you will need to pay someone to run you through the Sanctum Cay mission and then for a dessert run. You can then ascend using the OP's suggestion (or check the wiki for more ideas). The OP says you need to do the first 15 point attribute quest so talk to Annelle Fipps in Destiny's Gorge (should be part of the dessert tour/run you will buy) and take the quest The Forgotten Ones from her. The last NPC you need to talk to to complete that quest will give the quest Forgotten Wisdom which is the 15pt attrib. quest.

Once you have done that, the Ice Tooth cave is north of Beacon's Perch. If you don't have it from your run from Old Ascalon to LA, you can get run there from Beacon's Perch, or run it yourself, I don't think it's too hard for a level 20 with max armor. Don't quote me on that though.

Then just follow the rest of the OP's instructions.

Good luck.
