Default With Triple LP Week, What Will You Farm?

So I've been contemplating where to farm this weekend in order to get the most out of the triple lockpick drop weekend. For the most part, I'm leaning towards raptors (just going off my experience with the drop rate of holiday items with raptors). So, where will you guys be farming?

Just asking this since I am unsure of the drop rate for these particular weekend drops. Does it really matter where you farm?

I'll be farming the UW and selling the ectos I get and buy lockpicks from the merchant in the town my alliance owns, lol. If I really wanted to farm lockpicks, though, I think I'd farm in Cantha, just because the drops there are rather rare and would probably make up for all the lockpicks you'd lose from chests breaking them.

It says the frop rate is 3x what it normally is, so I wouldn't think there would be any point farming anything other than what you normally would to get keys/lockpicks. Raptors are probably the best as they have one of the highest kill rates.

Is it better to do it in HM or NM. Some people farm raptors in NM because they get more festival items, less golds. Atleast from what I heard. Now, is it better for lockpicks too or no? will need to try

Nowhere because it's pointless

3 times a small number still equals a small number. For it ever to become a viable weekend to farm lockpicks the drop rate would need to raised a considerable amount not by 3.

I believe lockpicks only drop in hard mode. Could be mistaken tho.

Yeah this is what I was thinking lol. I usually get close to 0 picks doing raptors or anything else for that matter . I guess 3 x 0 = 0 ahah. I'll give it a try anyhow :P.

I'll just be vanquishing the desolation, hopefully getting a few picks along the way.

Farm baby raptors hard mode, see how that goes. They do drop lockpicks in normal mode also.

Undead behind Oink's house in Gates of Kryta. Almost as fast and profitable as the raptor farm, plus Decayed Orr Emblems and a chance at ranger and mesmer tomes. Halloween will be here before you know it! Biggest advantage: no Claws of the Broodmother. The cash I will use to buy lockpicks for chest running, since the drop rate will be pathetic no matter where I farm. Farm, buy picks, run chests until they're broken, return to farm, rinse and repeat.

Forget about farming the picks. I'll be going after the lucky/unlucky points. This weekend is one of the few times I'll be excited over a pick breaking.

Zidane i agree - last time they did lockpick event i had a grand total of zero the whole weekend - was quite shocking as you`d think id get 1 at least.
Personally i`ll be doing my normal farming runs without even thinking of the lockpick drops

Yeah not really worth the time to actually farm lockpicks imo. This weekend is just for chest running to work on lucky unlucky titles. The small chance of getting a lockpick during a feather farm would just be a nice little added bonus for me.
