Exclamation 600 Ele ran me through SoO HM today <BUILD REVEALED>

Yes. When I joined the team I was really sceptical about an ele running this. I was actually going to leave the team, but the leader ensured me that the run is even faster then with 600/smite. Well, why not give it a shot - I thoght.
We enter the dungeon I noticed that the runner changed his Obsidian armor to a cheap one (not even 15k). After he cleared the first group fast (I also run this dungeon with my 600 and this was much faster) I was pretty shocked by the fact that this build wasnt even similar to Terra Tank. Using monk skills - what the ... ?
To my surprise the runner cleared the dungeon really quick ( can't tell exact time, but since I do this run with 600/smite I can tell this was much faster).
He didn't die even once.
He didint use consumables
He used monk skills to heal himself with the primary proffesion being Elemetalist

Now the good news is that we were allowed to follow him so I noted 7 skills he used. I will list them below. The team consisted of E/Mo, Smiter Mo/N and healer Mo/P with WoH elite.

Here are the skills I managed to write down:

OgNDkMPPTqO3VaR1DaDSfkiAAA

Ward of Stability
Shield of Abrorbtion
Spirit Bond
Protective Spirit
Obsidian Flesh
Glyph of Swiftness
Light of Deldrimor

I have tested it today with 15 armor but it didint work. I managed to kill one group. (been playing ele for 4 years now and it wasnt my fault). I tried different places. Still no results.

1. Any ideas on how to make this work ?
2. Got the skills, now If we can get this to work the whole SoO running will be revolutionized. The price of the run will drastically drop since eles will be able to run it. This can even lead to the price of BDS dropping , since Eles, Sins and Monks will be able to do the run now. Do you agree
?

I don't see how this can be faster considering obbi flesh makes you run 50% slower. I know he's just using it in battle, but he still has to wait for it to come off.

If I am not mistaken 600 ele has been around awhile. I have seen them run CoF. He is running Perma Obsi Flesh with 600 hp and using smites to kill. It just a modded 600 build. My guess on skill 8. Sliver to help speed killing up along with smites but I honestly don't know. I would have to go look at my ele's 600 build to get an idea. My question is why the 2nd monk. How many maintained enchants did he have on himself. If the 2nd monk was just to heal smiter then thats what people being run are for...

So many questions left unanswered here you really can't say revealed. If the person who was running this comes through here I would like to purchase a run at w/e the cost to see you do it succesfully.

Did he have degen? If not I am going to guess he had atleast mending on. As well as had balth spirit being maintained by one of the heroes. I would also guess his 8th skill was essence bond. I would also say he could have had watchful spirit succor..All those enchants would help him but having to take a 2nd hero for enchants would suck unless it really cut the time of run down.

Since my friend and I can average 40-45 min runs with our fastest being around 37-38 if it wasn't 10 minutes faster then that it wouldn't be worth it for me to lose the slot for a person to use ele varient. However, nice build for those without a monk.

Nice find, not really build revealed because idk what the heroes are running, but still interesting. If it is sliver armor hes using, then interesting.

Screen of a testrun with my ele, you can see all the skills of the 3 persons so I don't need to write them down :P

/edit: I was wearing a 15-armor

Only considering /age it would have taken several hours, because I went to a friend while standing afk :P

Since I did this run on 4th of June, I don't remember that good how long it took me to finish this, and even if I could tell you, it would be slower than the usual 600/smite run, because I died like 20 times at the end to figure out how to survive :P

You could replace balth spirit with e.g. lod and give it to tahlkora - would actually be a good idea :P

/edit: Is it really necessary to flame MpG? I bet you wouldn't have known the build when someone asked you before my last post...
He just wanted to tell us there's a way to run SoO with an ele and asked how that can work, so if you have nothing productive to say just don't say anything and stay away from the thread -.-

I got a SoO run from an ele/m today that was using: ward of stability, mind bender, protective spirit, spirit bond , lod, glyph of swiftness, Obs flesh, and Essense bond. He had 2 heros m/n and m/p. The run was much faster then 600/smite and seemed to kill fendi faster too.

P.S. I agree with Lord Sahem, not everyone is as cool as you...nothing nice to say? Don't say it!

This. Theres no need to be a prick just because you knew about a build the first second it came out and it takes a month before someone posts about it.

Posts like this will be deleted, both in this thread and in all others.

No the price wont drop... Monks, Sins, Rits, Ele's have always been able to run it, it's just a basic 600 ele, they've been around for a long time... the Mo/P monk with WoH, is just for extra healing. I've run SoO on my rit and ele, a few times. If anything is faster than monk it would be rit because of VwK. I'm sure the ele was fast, i know because i use it. But it's not going to be faster than monk, and if it is, only a little. There has been people running this with Rits, Ele's, and I've even seen a necro. All of the spellcasting classes can 55/600. All you need is Low AL armor, Spirit Bond/Prot Spirit, all the basic Enchants, and If you cant throw, spell breaker/obsidian flesh on your bar, you put it on a hero. In fact, I prefer using my 600 Rit to run Ooze, Kathandrax, SoO, CoF, Rragars, and anything else that you 600, uw, etc. It's much much faster. Ele is good and works, but not very fast. VwK = Win.

It's nothing new, it's not going to lower the price of the run, or the price of the bds. It's still a fairly difficult run, only because of Fendi, and the BDS will still always be rare. The only thing that lower's price of runs, are Runners, they catch the CoF disease, Just like darkrime, Arachni's, Kathandrax.... the builds get posted on PvX wiki, everyone and their mother starts running it, and nobody can wait for Customers, so they start lowering the price of the run so they dont have to compete with other runners. If the price of BDS drops, it will be because of the fact that a lot of people are doing SoOSC's (speed clears) now.

How do you use vwk? What skills do you use to protect yourself from spells?

sometimes a 2nd monk is used if a zone/dungeon has foes with skills like reversal of damage - that skill can kill a smite bonder as the dmg is also sent back to them.
Remember on a standard 600 tank ( regardless of profession ) the usual damage is done via the smite`s bondes - im surprised no1 has mentioned this.

@pug - vwk users when going 600 usually have either 1 or 2 monks - the team build is changed as the smite or extra monk will carry spellbreaker to cover the tank.

@mpg - the 600 has lowest armor possible as the tank needs to take as much damage as possible - compare the damage input of ar 15 to ar 60 and you`ll understand better - it also means more intake means holywrath and retribution returns almost 99% back to dealer.

I would be amazed if this could finish the dungeon. It does not have great energy management like the 600 with storm chaser. I have a feeling that if anyone tried this and actually made it to fendi then the ranger spawns would destroy their energy.

Well they do - so you have to save shield of absorption until they spawn - your energy reaches 0 but you won't take any dmg until you have enough energy to protect yourself again

to begin with the 600 build does not need a ranger, the build with ranger is for less experienced or lazy people

if your better with timing you would run arcane echo instead and can charge an extra customer
