i'd guess he takes quest, kills the dhuum thing (splinter seems to always target them), regs health and waits till the effect is off, kills next and so on.

i did a few runs but i found it too boring so i stopped, i had buh instead of deaths charge but i gues you wouldnt nead to reg much health if you get healed by 200, nor is the extra dmg really needed

i used the breaks to reg mana (with daggers) so the pve skill might not be the wisest choice, being blind sucks even if its just for a short time, i'd go for the non-pve version

Yea, there's an easier way to do it. Just take clear the chamber, aggro the left and middle group of aatxes/graspings and then use gole->DC->sliver (Don't need Ebsoh) - If you get better, you can use shadow steps to speed it up a tad(I added HoS in there instead of SS) - My best time was ~2:10 from load to 3 killed and capped.

OP isdoingitwrong.

Just do the following:

When getting the quest, abandon it after you have received the 3 everlasting mobstoppers. Accept the quest again to get 3 more. Repeat 5-10 times until you have enough stones.

Then, just go clear UW in nm, and dont bother with the UW quests. Loads of Skeleton of Dhuum are all around UW, so you can keep on capping them. Just load up a buttload of damage and melee/caster hate with some movement boosts and be able solo them down if the skeletons are grouped.

When done, return to the quest giver, and after you've accepted the reward, rezone and get the quest again, with the instant reward. Repeat.

Saves you loads of time mapping in and out, not to mention the 1k entry fee every time you do so. This increases your profit margin loads. Also increases your chances of an ecto drop along the way dramatically.

Makes you about 1 stack/hour, it's cash.

Except that doing it that way is loads slower then just killing the first 3. For instance, killing 3 takes <3 minutes, including zoning (My beat of a machine!) and a stack in an hour (30 stones) is 2 minutes/stone, whereas doing it this way is over twice as fast. You're right - You do have a better chance at an ecto, but even clearing the whole UW is worth maybe 2-3 ecto, not worth the 10-11 you could get from selling the extra stack you would get from this way. Not to mention that the skeles have a good chance at dropping rare mats, I'm already up 6e and a sapphire from just doing this for about 3 hours now.

well, I do it in 3 minutes with 2 accounts and 6 discord hero's wich is still faster and more ToT-bags/hour, 20x50 =1000 ftw

I beg to differ. I had a pug group that cleared vast majority of uw (with exception of pits) in 1 hr. 15 mins. We received 10 ecto drops and several keys and golds. I capped 39 skeles, which is 13 quests..in about 6.5 mins per quest, plus the additional drops. Also, never saw a rare mat drop from skele in the 2 days ive been doing this. Also, to do in 2-3 mins is for the permas mostly and not everyone is a perma, so our group had a very good rate imo.

You must be very lucky and unlucky at the same time. I find most pugs fail around the 30 second mark, but to have one complete UW in a reasonable amount of time is pretty good. But, that 2-3 ecto was per party member, 10e total is about 1e per person. As for the rare mats... Well, I've killed probably close to 500 of them by now (And gotten 1.5 legendary survivors to boot) , so that might be why.

Better yet, solo UW with the spirit spam build. It's just as fast as pugs, has less chance of failure, and gets you more ectos.

I agree with stacking mobstoppers and then partially clearing UW. Nets you more cash over long run since you only pay 1k to enter UW once, instead of paying 1k every 5mins or so

The Idea behind the way I did it was paying 1k to enter, 3 in 2 minutes. Thre 3 skeles== a refund of the 1k+25 ToTs. If you can keep up a steady pace thas 7.33 ToTs/minute, 430+ ToTs/hour. It also has the heavy benefit of the easiest from of getting Leg survivor.
