Default HM Vengeful Raptor Farmer

Hi all! My first thread and first post I think as well. So let's see if I can make this thread as good as possible.

I've been playing on my Rt for over a year and a half. In that time I've farmed raptors with the one that existed on PvX. Though now I've modded it into this build.

Template: OAWiMwhMtEYxQ84WuWyKaCEBAA

It enables me to farm all raptors, except the boss ofcourse. Always been impossible with a ritualist.

Anyway, with this build you can farm all Raptor Nestlings in little over a minute.
The trick is to make them not scatter, and to do that I found a bug by accident really while trying out this build.
What you do is cast all spell in order 8 -> 7 -> 6 -> 5 -> 1 outside the cave.
Then aggro everything you can (except boss group) run behind the rock furthest into the cave and stand close to it. You should stand on the South-south-east direction of the rock. If done right, no/most raptors will stay in place and won't run away. Thus still take damage from Radiation Field/Snow Storm/Light of Deldrimor.

If you can't make this happen you are probably standing in the wrong place. PM me ingame if you need me to show how to do it.

Enjoy!

You can and have been able to take out the boss group on any profession, On PvX there is a generic /Ele build that works fine.

I'll lay claim that I invented that build and I have never really liked it.

The key to any mist form build is NOT getting interrupted. If you can manage to get your Asuran up to rank 6 (doing books or something), Mindbender can last long enough for you to do an EFFICIENT (can't let it run out) and get your spells off with minimal interruption. So for any profession with enough energy you can go (similar to that build):

[Glyph of Elemental Power] - I like to slip this in because you can precast it and it has an added bonus of making your Mist Form last longer too.

[Magnetic Aura] - Critical spell since blocking = harder to interrupt

[Mindbender] - Level 6 is minimal. You need it to last long enough to get your Mist Form and Sliver cast after the aggro so you will need to be quick.

Precast those three. Catch the 3 roving groups (ideally not running around the back side of the pillar if you don't have to). Aggro the Broodmother group and cast your spells quickly before you get mobbed:

[Sliver Armor] - Yes, cast this first. More blocking is good.

[Mist Form]

[By Ural's Hammer!]

[Air of Superiority]

[Optional]

Believe it or not I actually maxed Asuran on my necro this way. Use a 40% fast cast, 20% Enchanting Staff. You WILL fail now and then but I think it's easier than the older build if you already have some Asuran rank going for you.
